Note that the restaurant is now separate and called La Taverna. It is very good and so is Bella Vista. A fine Victorian building, very close to the seafront, with good and interesting art on the walls and repro 19th century Italian furniture, perhaps a bit heavy for some tastes, but having a great deal of character rather than bland.... We booked a family suite which meant our daughter had her own single room and we had an adjoining bathroom between up. That included a corner jacuzzi bath which we did have a bit of trouble working, and then it leaked! The breakfast was fine, but the best aspect of the B&B is that it is one minute from the... More

Right smack in the middle of town and near the tram station. - bedroom and sheets are clean -breakfast had a small but decent selection. Choice of kippers, sausages bacon n eggs, sausage / bacon sandwich , poach eggs etc - staff... More

On arrival we thought my family and I had booked the four poster room at a higher rate, but I did receive a phone call that the room had already been booked, the owner did say the room available had a sea view at a lower rate The owner tried to obtain the higher rate for the room. On climbing... More

This is more a guest house than a hotel in my view, a bit pricey for what you get, the breakfast was just average although the hotel? is in a very good position for both the promenade and town centre so I suppose that helps even things out.
