Stayed at the tilstone with my partner for a week. Owners Lynn and Steve at first seemed very friendly. However a simple request for an earlier breakfast at 8am was refused as breakfast had to be at 8.30am if we wanted anything cooked. This was very inflexable, Room small and pokey. This is a warm and friendly hotel. All the rooms were lovely decorated and the cleanliness was outstanding. Meals were gorgeous. and nicely presented I stayed here while away on business , but hoping to go back next year with my family. more

Arrived at the Tilstone after a long journey. Lyn and Steve the owners gave us a warm welcome and made a pot of tea for us straight away. The hotel was very quiet and relaxing, in a good position near the sea front. The owners made us very welcome, and our room was large and airy with good views.
