having been to the chatsworth a number of times we were dissapointed with the service in the dining room at breakfast time. the system had changed to a flexi time instead of seperate sittings and this made for a huge number all wanting to be served at the same time , this did not work! We did complain to management... more

I write this review on behalf of my mother & grandmother. Ideally located for shopping on Mostyn Street. Tea/coffee awaited us on our arrival - while our cases were brought in from the coach, Friendly, polite staff. The owner was very friendly & went out of his way to ensure our stay was an enjoyable one. Food was lovey &... more

My wife and I have recently returned from a 5 day stay at this hotel. We found the rooms clean and tidy and the decor of the hotel was clean, but needed a bit of updating in some areas. The food served at meal times was well presented and plenty of it and most enjoyable. Entertainment in the evenings was first... more

Thanks to all the staff at Chatsworth House Hotel for a lovely weekend (31/10/08 - 02/10/08). Our room was quite large and had a sea view to die for although at night the draught through the windows was quite bad. Hope the evening entertainer is feeling better (sever chest infection) he is a credit to the hotel. The resteraunt staff... more

The food was acceptable and served by efficient staff while the bed linen was clean. That being said, this hotel has nothing else to recommend it. Dirty, shabby and poorly maintained from the disgusting contents of the jacuzzi to the dirty bathroom floors via the lingering stale smell in the corridors and the decaying furniture. Only a major emergency would... more

The rooms were not very nice at all. Very small, everything very cramped together. Bathroom was absolutly tiny. Beds were hard and my poor mother had a bad back when she woke up. We didn't even have a propper door on the bathroom, we had something that looked like a wooden plank that went side to side and back and... more

Have just come back from a midweek break at this hotel. It is situated on the central prom near to shops and the mobility centre, if walking aids or wheel chairs need to be hired. The food was ample and beautifully cooked with the vegetables served separately, even the gravy was home made and always more if you asked. My... more

Having enjoyed a 4 night stay in the hotel, I was impressed. The public rooms were spotlessly clean and smart. The bedrooms were also very clean, comfortable, and had clean towels every day. When one of our party had an accident and needed a hospital, the manager and receptionists were extremely efficient and helpful. There was a limited choice of... more
