We went to the hotel for a short holiday. Most of the guests were over 65, but it is lively and in a great location. The hotel facade has recently been painted so it looks good. Some carpets inside are looking tired. A seaview room is well worth the extra money, and the service and food is good. I would... more

When you roll up to the Chatsworth Hotel you think, "wow! how charming!". Then you go inside. This hotel is old and it shows it. First you see the tired and slightly musty entryway. Front desk and greeting was fine, but surroundings are just tired. I was a solo traveler on a coach journey and therefore was given a single... more

Our children booked this hotel through travel syle coach holidays but as a self drive and paid exta tarriff to the hotel to upgrade us to a sea view room because it was our 50th anniversary! Just had a 3 night break at the Chatsworth travelling with National Coach Holidays. For the money we paid it was what you would expect but I would have been dissapointed being a solo traveller and paying the "full" price. The main hotel public rooms are clean and recently decorated with the concert room taking the bulk of the ground... more

The food was varied, of a high standard and well served. The porridge is recommended. All the staff were pleasant and our waitress, who was Polish, was lovely. Our bedroom was small, but well furnished. There was a sliding door to the shower room which had soft, fluffy towels. The bed had only one thin blanket and there was not... more
