To be frank I have seen rooms worse than this, but have also got excellent ones too for the price we payed to stay at Elsinore. The only highlight about the hotel was the location, it is right infront of the Llandudno Pier. But unfortunately the good part ends here. The hotel staff were not trained enough and were not... The room was ok and had a really nice sea view for £38pn, we stayed for 3 nights the beds were comfy, but our room was serviced only once so we had no milk or sugar for or teas. Each morning the breakfast service was terrible. The toast would take 20 minutes to come the tea and coffee would be... More

After reading the previous reviews I was very nervous about visiting the Elsinore but was pleasantly surprised. The scaffolding mentioned in other reviews has been removed, I suspect that it was there to repair the roof since the front has been re painted and the damp on the ceilings is no longer a problem. My sister and I were given... More

There are so many bad reviews on this hotel, I was slightly worried, but having booked direct at a cost of just £15 a night for a single room with full breakfast, I thought that I'd risk it for a biscuit! Arriving at the hotel I was pleasantly surprised with the first impression - the scaffolding has gone from the... More

This hotel is NOT WHAT it is on their website. The entrance is shoddy, the landings dirty, walls blistering with damp and the rooms completely not to a UK star rating!!! The room was small, dirty and dated. The main door into the small room was not secure, the bed was dirty and the bathroom was of the same poor... More

This hotel is absolutely terrible. The lights didn't work in 3 out of the 4 rooms they showed us. This is not up to UK hotel standards. This hotel needs a refurb pronto! Pay a bit more money and go somewhere which is fit for purpose! More

My girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel 2 weekends ago for 3 nights and paid 70 quid bed and breakfast. It was absolutely fine. Clean, safe and breakfast lovely. Dont listen to these other tight people who pay similar prices to me and complain its not like the bloody Ritz! It isnt. But staying there costs a fraction of... More

After staying in this "so called hotel" for just one night I then went home and washed myself with bleach!! Myself and my partner slept with our legs practically in the air because the bed slanted upwards. We felt a terrible draft during the night and thought we had left the window open...only to find the next morning that there... More
