The Elsinore is still under renovation, but we suffered no disruption , dirt or noise from this, as work started as we went out, and had finished before we returned each day. We found the staff very helpful and courteous; our 2 rooms were originally apart, but after one night one was moved so we had next door rooms, both...

I booked in early in the morning, well aware that the outside was being renovated. Thought I would chance it at £20, believing that the rooms would be OK and not to judge by the external renovations. Returned to the room in the evening - damp, dingy, dusty. The electric light bulb blew and was followed by a burning smell....

This hotel is nothing like the photo's on their website nor is there any mention that the hotel is going through a major renovation. Its literally a building site. On entering the hotel, it wasn't very welcoming and there was no interaction between the staff and their customers. We stayed only for one night. The room we stayed in was...

We checked into this hotel on saturday 17th September, having already been charged for our room and been told quite directly "If you cancel for any reason we will still charge you". We thought that the initial telephone call was offputting as the chap at the other end of the phone was extremely rude and abrupt. The hotel had a...

like many other poor souls who booked into this delapidated place, we walked out the following morning. Dirty, smelly, health risk, filthy shower, no hot water, but the smell in the place was just unbearable.the man on reception told us there was parking round the back, no such thing,we went to tell him, he then changed his mind and said...

This place is so bad I don't know where to start. It's a derelict slum fit only for beasts. Nothing more, nothing less. I walked in and walked straight back out. Better to pay the first night and stay eleswhere than to endure this hideous flee-pit. To anyone who doubts this warning, remember you were warned!
