Stayed here for one night before walking up Snowdon, great location on the seafront 5 minutes from the pier. Corridors are a bit thin and winding, rooms ok, tv, tea/coffee. Breakfast in the morning was good and plentiful.

We arrived as a party 11 of us celebrating a birthday. Got into our room which was small but it was only for a night. The bed still had the last persons head shape on the pillow so my husband pulled the duvet back. There was faeces on the cover and on the bottom sheet....IT WAS AWFUL...there were no other... More

One night stay as a last minuet thing, and for £25 a night b&b I didn't expect much. I wasn't disappointed too much. The room was a closet, the lock didn't work properly on the door and the shower didn't give me water powerful enough to wash off soap suds. The wash basin was in the room at the window.... More

Just got back from a three night break with my husband for £135 including cooked breakfasts and had a great time. A lovely 2 star hotel with nice staff. Parking is free for 90 minutes around the corner and £3 all day outside hotel, 4pm to 10am is free. Room was small and cosy but clean. Bathroom was compact with... More

I stayed here twice in 2013. In a lovely spot is all I can say about this hotel. Lift has never worked, dangerous wiring, scruffy furniture, I fully agree with all the latest reviews about this hotel. In my opinion it should be closed down, until refurbished.

We booked 2 nights here today and yesterday. My father was taken I'll as we were about to set off which meant a very quick journey to the hospital, without any thought of the day's plans. My father passed away at 8pm last night and so again did not think to contact the hotel - as arrangements for his funeral... More

The rooms were all close together - New Towels every day - Bed made - and Rooms cleaned - Tea/Coffee sachets etc were topped up. On arrival Receptionist on duty at time did not seem very friendly - but... More

Just spent 3 nights at Elsinore, paid for in advance with Booking.com. Should have walked out immediately and gone elswhere, but didn't want to have to pay again. Hotel a disgrace - filthy, stained carpets everywhere. All walls and paintwork were badly stained and scratched and needed repainting. Radiator on first landing looked as if was about to fall off... Well, where to start? Let's mention the positives. great location. right on the promenade. Breakfast edible and clean white tablecloths. OK, positives done. This isn't just a hotel stay, this is an experience, and not a good one. The bedroom (called a 'family' room) was what you can only describe as a hovel. just to be clear, I am not... More
