We used Trip Advisor and spotted that The Cliffbury was no. 1. in the ratings. So we booked. It's place in the rankings is totally justified. This is a lovely, clean, modern guest house. The breakfast includes local produce (bacon, sausage, eggs) and really makes a difference. We stayed in the 3 bed room (double room with adjoining single room)... more

Situated in a quiet and peaceful area and yet only 5 minutes walk to the centre of Llandudno; easy parking; clean, warm accomodation and friendly hosts. Excellent breakfast. What more could you want! more

Myself and my wife recently stayed in the Cliffbury and we have nothing but good things to say about both the establishment and also the host Gareth. Upoin arrival we were given a tour of the guest house, starting with the breakfast room. The room was set out beautifully and each guest room had their own table to avoid the... more

This is our second stay at The Cliffbury. We were in room 6 (double) and the kids were in room 5 (twin) for a couple of nights. The guest house had been awarded 4 stars since our last visit and well deserved too. Rooms are well appointed and have all those little extras for a comfortable stay. Staying here you... more

Fairly basic but comfortable room with TV and radio. Very clean and freshly decorated. En suite quite small with no elecric razor socket. Very pleasant breakfast room. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. High quality produce. Very friendly and helpful proprietor. Just ten minutes flat walk to the prom and shops. I would very happily return. more

We recently spent two weeks in the UK and stayed at a number of B&Bs and Guest Houses. The challenge is finding accommodation that has both character and moderm amenities. The Cliffbury met this challenge with ease. It's within very easy walking distance of the centre of town and the waterfront, and eating establishments are close by. On-street parking is... more

Could not fault it! Had a really pleasant stay- very comfortable, spotlessly clean, much attention to detail (great!) and a friendly smile each morning for the yummy breakfast- try the kipper combination (our own creation!) Lovely and quiet, but easy access to centre, trains and buses. We'll definitely go again. First rate!! more

Everything about Cliffbury is first-rate. Claire and Gareth have anticipated your every need and host with grace, generosity and exceedingly good humour. Llandudno is looking beautiful - my first visit in 25 years, but certainly not my last. Can't praise Cliffbury highly enough. Don't miss the home-made muffins! more

Newly refurbished and clean premises in a quiet location. The friendly and helpful hosts are only too willing to provide all the services that you would expect to receive. We have stayed at the Cliffbury several times and will do so again. more
