We cancelled one of the big expensive hotels and opted for the Headland Hotel when we found out its location and viewpoint. This is a quirky hotel full of character, creaky floorboards, sash windows, manor style staircase........brilliant. Our room (23) had lovely sea views and had great modern style bathroom, there are plenty of reading/relaxing rooms all over the hotel.... More

We've just returned from a four night break in Llandudno - wanting to explore some of North Wales with our 2 year old. We weren't disappointed with this gem of a hotel. The location is stunning with probably the best view of beautiful Llandudno. Lucky for us each morning was bright and sunny so it was a glorious view to... More

we have recently returned from a two night stay here. The hotel must have one of the best locations in Llandudno, with fantastic views across the bay. Our room, no 35, was on the second floor. It was spacious and comfortable, with fantastic views. The en suite was small, but clean and perfectly adequate. The furnishings were past their best,... More

Went for a short break - t short notice. Asked for a sea view - amazing view, from top floor. This was the last room, and on the third floor, so kept us fir (best to contact hotel directly if you have any mobility issues, this is a small hotel with no lift up a hill - hence the view).... More

Myself and my daughter had a fabulous stay at Headlands recently. The room was a little dated but perfectly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with something for everybody with the traditional breakfast made with local produce. Ray was a great host and very entertaining in the bar and at breakfast time. Nothing was too much trouble. We were presented... More

Firstly let me say I've stayed at some decent hotels around the world (im not being big headed when I say that).Im currently staying here in a double room (room 25),and for £85.00 apart from nit picking I can't fault the place.Yes parking is difficult but who cares!. It is like an old murder mystery house with the wooden stair... More

I had their single room, which is a tiny but serviceable cubbyhole on the fourth floor (with no elevator, as they clearly advertise). Unfortunately wifi did not reach this floor; I had to go downstairs to use it. Still, it was good for my single night stay. The breakfast was excellent. My only qualm is with the parking: there are... More

I'm so glad I read the reviews before I booked this hotel, I was not disappointed! Situated right at the foot of the Orme, this hotel has stunning views. We were in Room 33 which was on a split level with a Double and a single bed. The double room was just stunning. The hotel itself has so many beautiful... More

Arrived early and were shown to our room which overlooked the garden. Lovely room, great breakfast in dining room overlooking the bay. Helpful owner, reminded us of Basil Fawlty......but a nice way! Great sense of humour. We're given snacks for the journey home.

A traditional sea front hotel with amazing views over Llandudno. We only stayed for one night and left relatively early the following day ( a total of 10 hours so it is hard to judge. The positives were the rooms clean and individually decorated. There were some really interesting features around the hotel such a stained glass. Only two small... More
