This was our second visit to The Headlands Hotel and will be returning. Our room was great and had a fantastic view of Llandudno. Ray and Tanya are great. Love the breakfast room rota so everyone gets a turn having a sea view with their breakfast. Our 6 year old really feels at home here, even chatting to some other... More

We stayed in the family room which overlooked Llandudno bay. The room was comfortable and a generous size with an en suite bath and overhead shower. The room was old fashioned but the beds were very comfortable and the room was cleaned while we were out. The breakfast was very filling, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad and a fully cooked... More of a guest house than an hotel. An interesting building which could do with some modernising. Dark wood, dark wallpapers, old portraits and dark furniture give the place a very dated look but room was pleasant enough and bathroom was spotless and fairly new looking. Four poster bed was a surprise but at six foot tall it was too short... More

I got to the hotel much later than expected and Tanya's first words were, "I'm so glad you made it I was getting worried." Both she and Ray were very gracious hosts. I had to get up very early and they fed me an hour before breakfast time. I loved their pet dog (and pet seagull), and the room, though... More

The hotel is a lovely old building and made you and the dog very welcome. The only downside is no lift so if on third floor very hard on the old knees, also didn't like giving you baked beans for breakfast and pushed with breakfast bringing in cooked before you had chance to finish cereal, and the owners seemed to... Both of us and our dog, arrived on the off chance they had a room, and lucky they had, friendly welcome, great views, lovely room, tasteful period furniture all matching, with a nice en suite. Very clean. Relaxing environment, and easy 5 minute stroll in to town. Great breakfast. ' Myself and my dog had stayed there 5 days for... More

we booked 4 nights with garden view. Room was quirky, very clean, good size tv with fluffy towels . Bed was very comfortable. Hotel has many individual features- like a minature stately home and a superb view of the sea and llandudno town.. cooked breakfast was excellent with locally sourced ingredients . The fruit salad was exceptional with about 8... More

It wasn't the dogs or their owners that bothered us. I actually thought it was quite nice that there should be a place that accepts dogs. Neither did we find the hotel unhygienic. Yes, the room was ridiculously claustrophobic, the decor from sometime around the 18th century and the painting exhibiting throughout the hotel reminiscent of a military museum. No,... More
