Me and my wife have just returned home from a long weekend stay, room was exceptional great views of the promenade, breakfast was lovely each morning, nice touch that the owner remembered what you had to drink the previous day, little bag with water and flapjack for the drive home. Would happily stay here again

This hotel oozes Victorian elegance and charm, but has all the modern requisites for 21st century guests. Mine host was charming, attentive, knowledgeable and amusing, as well as being professional in running the hotel. Our room, 32, had a great sea view and suited us very well. Very hard to fault and top of our list for a return visit.

Had a great time here. Views amazing, breakfast high quality and the funniest, quirkiest hotelier you could wish to meet. Everything was great, with the added bonus of Mr Fawlty himself looking after us. My wife and I thought of Ray as being a bit like Basil anyway, but at breakfast on our last day there was a real live... More

Room 43 is a peaceful corner room on the top floor - windows facing two sides of the Orme's Head, so you can see the length of the prom through one and the gardens and cable car through the other. It's reasonably comfortable- but there's no mirror -except in the bathroom- and there are three flights of stairs from reception... More

We stayed for two nights and had a room with amazing views! The only hitch was that it was on the 4th floor with no lift so not good if you have walking difficulties. The hotel is high up so the road to it is steep and as it is at the head of a cul de sac it is... More

A very comfortable and friendly hotel. I liked the idea of moving table numbers around so that you have chance to talk and meet different people. A very hearty breakfast for anyone who can cope with so much food first thing in the morning, but lighter choices are readily available. Lovely views and close to all amenities.

I work in a " Branded Hotel" where every hotel is the same, to me it is nice where the rooms are not the same, but still kept to the same high standard & where the drinks & food is kept Local. Myself I like the Peace & Quite of where the Hotel is, you can either have nice local... More

The hotel is in a prime spot not ten minutes walk from the town and the beach. Also close to many other attractions. The hotel itself was clean and well kept, aswell as being cleaned each day. The area is quiet at night and the bedrooms are comfortable. The view from the hotel is stunning and the hosts are welcoming.... More
