Just spent two nights at the hotel. Accommodation very good had double room at rear of hotel looking out to the Welsh hills. Very comfortable, clean and warm. Just had bed and breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful, there was lots of choice at breakfast ranging from cereals, full Welsh breakfast and more. I was away with 10 of my... More

Booked the 4 night half board accommodation for early October by phone at a reasonable price but did not receive a letter of confirmation despite asking twice. We need not have feared as the price matched the quote and we duly paid when we arrived less the £50 deposit paid. The double room was furnished in the modern style with... More

Visited with friends for a walking holiday. We was able to check in early with the friendly receptionist. Nice & clean sea view room. Rooms where very warm. Breakfast was served by a friendly waiter & was ample. All in all a excellent value hotel at £70 per couple including breakfast. Would definitely return

Enjoyed a 6 night stay on a Rail Discoveries Tour. Seaview room gave good views of both Ormes and the bay. Bed comfy and room clean, modern shower in bathroom. Fresh cooked breakfast and good choice of cereals. Enjoyed the evening meals. After a full day touring was well ready to get tucking in at 6.30pm. Home made soups and... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of a rail discovery tour and had really looked forward to it as we had enjoyed a previous tour in North Yorkshire. However despite upgrading to a sea view room we were very disappointed with the hotel. The food was very poor and for 3 of the 5 nights we ended up eating... More

We went to Llandudno as part of a Rail Discoveries (formerly Treyn) holiday and we stayed at the Kensington Hotel which is on the Sea Front. The hotel has it's own car park at the rear and lift to all floors. The room we had was a sea view room and was very comfortable and clean. The hotel looks as... More

We stayed as part of a group and we really enjoyed our stay at the Kensington. The staff were all very friendly, polite and efficient. The food was excellent - especially breakfast!! Breakfast is cooked to order so you do have to wait but it is worth it. The large car park at the back is a real bonus. We... More

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Food was very good. Service was very good. However some amenities were lacking. Poor room lighting. No ice machine or otherwise availability inadequate. TV sound from adjoining room was heard in our room. Also, no tissues in room.

Had a lovely stay at the Kensington last week, We arrived early and parked our car at the rear car park after getting the code from reception. Luckily our room was ready which was a bonus so we were able to unpack and settle in. We upgraded to a sea view room which was well worth the extra money. Why... More
