Had a lovely stay at the Kensington last week, We arrived early and parked our car at the rear car park after getting the code from reception. Luckily our room was ready which was a bonus so we were able to unpack and settle in. We upgraded to a sea view room which was well worth the extra money. Why... More

A quick short break over the last bank holiday of the year. Hotel overlooked the promenade, and had adequate parking facilities. Room was of good standard with a revamped shower room, which, although small was perfectly adequate. Breakfast was served in an airy dining room, service was quick and efficient. Breakfast choice was the usual cereal, and various cooked alternatives.... More

My partner and I stayed here in august 2014. On arrival check in was very quick and easy and the reception staff were very polite. The room we stayed in was very clean and modern, the shower was powerful with plenty hot water and the bed was very comfortable. Much to our delight when reading the welcome book we discovered... We stayed there for 5 nights as part of a package break. The hotel has quite a lot going for it. The location, free parking and free Wi-Fi (albeit not a good signal). The food was good each day and we have no complaint about the food at all, or the serving staff. I have one complaint about the hotel,... More

We booked this hotel quite late (48hrs) and arrived around 3pm on Saturday 9th August. We entered the hotel from the rear car park, entering the building through a rather dated lower ground entrance and staircase to reception. On arrival at reception the receptionist was pleasant but the desk and surrounded areas were dated and there were exposed power cables... More

Arriving around the back of the hotel, my partner and I couldnt get in to the car park. We needed a code to get in... something the receptionist failed to mention over the phone. So we call the front desk, no answer. My partner has to get out of his van and go to reception himself to find out the... More

The hotel seemed to be run by staff as there was no evidence of any manager/owner over our weekend stay. The room/bathroom was very good (apart from a sticky substance ingrained in the carpet, and unidentifiable stains on the valances round the beds) but the rest of the hotel is in need of some tlc. We booked in at £180... More

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days, the room we had was on the 3rd floor, which was the attic, not very big, though fairly comfortable, the food was very ordinary, but there was plenty of it, a choice of a different roast each day, a vegitarian choice and sometimes fish or something else. the staff were quite helpful...
