My 4 night stay at the Grand was as part of a coach trip. The room was very clean and it had everything I wanted it even had two televisions. We had paid extra for a sea view and it was worth every penny the course across the bay is wonderful. Some people we talked to did not have this... More

The Grand has been around a long time and certainly looks tired and in desperate need of a respirator. The decor in most places is uninspiring and certainly the room we were given was lacking any individual touches at all, no pictures , 60's TV,( with no way of adjusting the colour making everybody look as if they were recently... I totally agree with the last few recent reviewers [ Eric the Viking and June G] comments. I will add that the parking is dreadful and that the Grand caters more for Coach customers than ones with cars. May I suggest that the Grand is demolished and converted into car parking which will at least help to solve the problem... More

Where do I start? A groupon deal so I suppose we could'nt expect too much but you should expect a certain standard. The evening buffet was basic at best, lamb, peas, boiled potatoes dried up cauliflower cheese. Soup out of a 10 gallon catering tin. Breakfast: Economy sausage, salty bacon both totally void of taste, cold tinned tomatoes and a... More

One can only describe our experience as a scene from pheonix nights!!! completley unfriendly , faceless receptionst, then 20 mins trying to get in the lift due to the gereatrics riding up and down in it brought us to our sea view room which could only be seen whilst peering through the seagull poo!! the room was filthy the decor... 1night stay booked on Late Rooms. When arriving at reception we obviously interrupted the 3 members of staff in reception who were chatting to each other as looked at us and carried on with their backs to us not very welcoming. Given envelope with keycard and instructions take lift to 4th floor. On opening the door to our room we... More

It's all a bit sad,the maintenance men have an impossible task. Plenty of hot water / good shower. Food ok. Service in restaurant ok. Smell of damp in room. This was the second room we were given as window in first room was taped in and wasn't fit for use.don't drink the tap water! Next to hotel looks derelict. It's... More

I recently visited this hotel for a weekend break with my husband, through KGB destinations. The hotel is large, the bedrooms are 'tired' (as are most large seaside hotels), however for a small amount we upgraded to a sea view room. The views from this hotel must be the best in Llandudno. From our room we could look out to sea,... More

As a treat for Mothers day we was shocked. Very 1920's decor. In need of a complete make over doors and windows included certainly not worth the £210 for 2 nights. Had a funny smell through out. Breakfast was warm with not alot of choice and also some food very awkward to reach due to lid resting on the top... More
