Great food and plenty of it, clean rooms, bedding and lovely soft towels. Staff friendly and very helpful. They provided good entertainment for the Friday and Saturday nights. Just a shame that it needed a lick of paint, but overall we had a great time. It's near to the Great Orme and the sea shore, great for walking and sightseeing.

Spent 1 Day here and that was simply too long. although good location, it was one of the only hotels i could book, at short notice for 2 adults and 1 child and no wonder it wasnt full. 1. the place needs a complete repaint, rusty balconys with bird poo all over, 2. entrance lobby etc looks ok. 3. walk... hotel very dated, needs complete refurbishment not very clean as to general hovering etc. The food was excellent, different menu every day. Entertainment very good. We found it to be noisy as wall partitions very thin and could hear guests in other rooms. The bedding was clean and beds comfortable. We went there on a bus trip with National Holiday... More

This hotel has actually put me off completely from using coach tour companies. After reading some of the reviews on tripadvisor I phoned Glenton, the company we were travelling with and attempted to cancel or change to another destination. Unfortunately we could not find anything else that suited us and would have lost half of our costs had we cancelled.... More

The hotel is very dated, it is quite pleasant, however the room in which me and my partner stayed it wasn't the cleanest of rooms, there was a picture on the wall which had gone mouldy, the walls were dirty and the ceiling. The bed wasn't very comfy and we were rudely awaken on our last morning by the fire... More

This is a dated hotel which needs dragging in to the 21st century. Having said that our room was large, clean and had stunning views. The staff were pleasant and happy to help. It certainly would have been a grand hotel in its time, just not anymore.

I booked a mon to fri break with Travelstyle. The journey was eventful going and tiring and delayed returning...as coach trips often are. I was welcomed on arrival by smiling faces and my room was clean and comfortable. The meals were in timed sessions and it worked well. The staff were friendly but only one lady ( not one of... More

Although an old Victorian establishment this hotel still has a commanding position overlooking the sea and the pier. It is a bit tired but the bedrooms were clean and comfortable, it had evening entertainment and lifts to all floors. There are 3 types of bedroom, standard, superior and Premium with sea views. If you pay the premium rate you also... More

Stayed for a weekend break in a premier room with fantastic sea views. Room was clean and had everything you'd expect and a jacuzzi bath with powerful shower. Staff were very friendly polite and helpful. Breakfast was plenty full and tasty. The Entertainment was brilliant with a talented team who put on a very professional show in the ballroom. Very... Where to start?! This hotel needs complete refurbishment inside and out! The rooms we had were delapidated, with no safe drinking water!! Although the beds, sink and toilets were clean, the floor was filthy and there was dust and grime up the walls. The breakfast waiting staff need training as they take plates whilst your still eating! Although the location... More
