A stunning place. We stayed in the Lamp Room which is cold and has a problem with condensation - but fantastic views. At midnight we were sat in our coats, with hats, scarves and gloves on - but it was a bitterly cold night in February and the moonlit sea view was incredible. Wow! !What a place!We stayed here on our wedding night,and even though we live in Llandudno,it really was an experience.There are 3 guest rooms,All f which are in the old light house.We had the lamp room which has the old lamp casing made into a lounge with a view of 280degres over Anglesey up to little Orme. Our night's stay was a retirement gift and we knew how unusual this accomodation was because our daughter and son in law had stayed there previously and said how wonderful it had been. We have had the pleasure of staying in the Lighthouse twice. The first time we actually got engaged there and we stayed in the lamp room which was beautifully decorated with stunning views from the main lamp room. The second time we stayed we were again made to feel very welcome by the lovely charming hosts. We cannot fault this... more

If you're in for something a bit different, I would highly recommend the Lighthouse Llandudno on Great Orme. We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of June and it was quite an experience. The lighthouse sits on top of a cliff overlooking the ocean. It is no longer in operation as a lighthouse, but has 3 rooms that... more
