We stayed two nights in the Telegraph room and it was impressive. The views were stunning, and being able to climb onto the roof was great. Our room also had a separate sitting area with an electric fire – a perfect place for reading on a gusty evening. The breakfasts were generous and tasty. Having access to the kitchen to... More

Cheesy title, I know, but it really was windy on our first night! Which made our stay all the more wonderful. We stayed in the marvellous telegraph room, with its exclusive access to the roof! The decor feels so authentic and such a welcome change from modern generic hotels. I had the best night's sleep. Lovely sitting in the little... More

Second time staying here, first time in telegraph room (see review), this time Lamp room. It was amazing, outstanding and beautiful. Fiona and Ray are outstanding hosts. We took a champagne picnic basket to have in room and it was amazing. It's the perfect place to stay, with perfect hosts....we will definitely be back. Truly beautiful

me and my partner stayed at the lighthouse in January 2015. This was a shot in the dark for me and her as we were both young and into modern, labeled hotels, when we went away. This however, would be one of the best places we've ever had the privilege of staying. Upon arrival, we were both greeted by Fiona... More

We stayed at the lighthouse for our anniversary treat and had heard great things, so we're looking forward to it. It is a very unique experience. We stayed in the principle keepers room with a four poster bed that was very comfy. The owners are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. When we arrived we were given a guided tour around... This is a very special place. If you are needing peace and quiet this is the place to come. The owners, Ray and Fiona are lovely, warm and friendly people who go out of their way to make you feel at home. We loved our 2 days in the wonderful "Lamp Room" with our very own huge bay window where... More

Fantastic place to stay and would highly recommend to anyone. I stayed with my boyfriend and we were in the Telegraph Room. It was absolutely beautiful, cosy, and really romantic. Fiona was probably the most friendly B&B owner we've ever met and we were greeted with a brief history of the lighthouse and then a tray of beautiful coffee and... More
