My friend and I visited this hotel last weekend as part of a coach trip. What can I say, it's a bit of an enigma. They have tried to bring it up to date, the public rooms are very nice, however, our room (315) had lovely wallpaper but was finished to a poor standard. I felt it was all for... More

I recently stayed at this hotel with my elderly parents who are both in their eighties as part of an organised coach trip; this is something that both they and I had been looking forward to. The hotel in question does, in the main gain its trade from coach trips predominantly of elderly people, so it came as quite a... More

Excellently located with everything you need within easy reach, this hotel with its friendly staff make this hotel a pleasure to visit. I went with a group of two brass bands so we occupied a lot of rooms between us. It was obvious that some rooms were better than others, some had central heating whilst others had wall mounted heaters... More

We came here on a coach holiday and as we hadn't been here before thought this would be nice. On the first night we tried to run a hot bath but found we had no hot water so we reported it to reception they said they check, they had to call out a plumber to sort out a fault on... More

We visited here in early December . The atmosphere here is very friendly, relaxing with good food and comfortable beds. The Staff are amazing,so pleasant, obliging and attentive. The weather was fine and dry which was a bonus as Rhyll, nearby, had experienced floods that very week. Santa came to each table with a gift on the Saturday evening and what a happy chappy... More

Let's get the bad bit out of the way to start with - a shower with a mind of it's own, - hot, cold, cold hot, - it couldn't make up it's mind. Now the good bits: Room lovely and warm, very clean, comfy beds. Food - delicious and plentiful, first class all round. Staff - friendly, courteous, incredibly hard... More
