Stayed at the Risboro at the weekend. Our room no 83 was clean and tidy.at first television was not working , but was soon fixed. We asked for extra pillows and got them sraight away. Food was good more than enough to eat especially breakfast. If you go away after breakfast feeling hungry that is your own fault. All the hard... More

We stayed at this hotel on the 4th and 5th July- it is fantastic, the staff are so friendly! Value for money, breakfast and evening meal included in the cost- food was lovely. We have been to Llandudno a few times now and wouldn't normally book an evening meal so it was a nice surprise!

The Risboro Hotel is in a quite location, although not on the sea front it is very central for all amenities in the resort. On arrival one of the owners got onto the coach and welcomed us to the hotel and then told us all we wanted to know. The check in was very smooth and the hotel provided all... More

The hotel was amazing, we had a wonderful time: excellent food, good bedrooms, amazing location. Even though i have a rated it 5 starts i have to admit that the rooms were far too hot on a summer night, we struggled to get to sleep some nights because of the heat. As well as that the pool closed a bit... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Risboro is perfectly placed for exploring the beauties and historic treasures of North Wales. Anglesey, Snowdonia, and the scenic Conwy and Denbigh coasts surround the Victorian resort of Llandudno which stands on the low isthmus that joins the Limestone rock of The Great Orm to the mainland. The Gardens of Bodnant and the Castles of Conwy, Penrhyn, Canaerfon and Beaumaris are all close by as are the mountains of the Snowdonia National Park and the Great Little Trains of Wales Llandudno boasts two beaches—the North shore with its elegant crescent of hotels and Victorian pier, and the wilder west shore, famous for inspiring Lewis Carroll to write Alice in Wonderland, with its sand dunes and fabulous views towards the mountains, the Menai Straits and the medieval walled town of Conwy. The Risboro sits between the two beaches at the foot of the Orm—a stone’s throw from the tram station for the summit of the Orm and at the western end of the vibrant town centre. with its wide range of shops, cafes and restaurants. Whatever your age there is a great holiday awaiting you here. ... more   less
