We unfortunately joined some friends on coach tour to this establishment, scruffy mouldy old rooms, dirty bathrooms, unmade beds and inedible food. Left early and were never happier to get home and have a good wash. Who knows what lives in those sheets? more

after reading the fickle reviews on this hotel with various one's even saying what the owners car was made us want to go elsewhere but we gave it a go anyway...I'm so glad we did because from the moment we arrved to the moment we left it was nothing but a pleasure ...With the helpfull staff and the clean rooms... more

On arrival 4th Sept we checked in with out any problems nice warm welcome, room clean and tidy but a little basic, shower eventually worked ok, so so far so good, all staff with the exception of one made our stay enjoyable (special mention to the restraunt staff) so well done Risboro. just remember you get value for the amount... more

Stayed 4 nights on half board ,booked through Travelstyle.Food was adequate,but not very varied (boiled potatoes,beans and carrots with every evening meal).Bedroom carpet was badly stained and debris from previous occupants was still on the floor.The room was not cleaned during our stay.The shower was a joke,I could have got wetter in a gentle shower of rain.Staff seemed very thin... more

Was not impressed with the lack of cleanliness in our bedroom. . Obviously not cleaned from previous clients visit. Dirty cups, teaspoons, spilled sugar on hospitality tray and kettle needed to be replace twice before we could comfortably make a cup of tea.. Worst hotel, I've ever stayed at. Last updated in the early 1970's by the looks of things. Didn't want to use shower, or walk on carpet.
