We enjoyed afternoon tea at Bodysgallen earlier this week and could not fault the food or service. Good selection of teas to start, topped up when needed. When the tiered stand arrived we were unsure if we could eat everything, but the sandwiches and cakes was too delicious to stop eating!

Lovely hotel and spa. Spa is in a different building and down a small hill. Afternoon tea is a pleasure. Food is wonderful. This country manor was rescued and turned into a hotel. There is an elegance about the place and the staff is excellent. Very comfortable and inviting. My stay here was relaxing and very pleasant. It is a... More

Stayed at the'superior cottage' for one night. Nothing superior about it. Don't know why it was so expensive. Nothing special just a basic room and living area with small kitchen and dated bathroom. Furniture, mainly sofa, was tatty and worn. Needs updating if they are charging so much. I've stayed at nicer travelodges! I always thought you got what you... More

This was our third visit. The Hall and its situation is superb. We had Box Cottage which is in effect a small suite very comfortable well appointed and serviced and very convenient for the Spa. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only disappointment was the Restaurant. The menu was very restricted for the price and the lunch... More

Excellent hotel with a v.good spa. The Staff were excellent.Quiet beautiful gardens. Stayed at the Pineapple Cottage which was a two bedded 'flat' outside but very near to the hotel itself.Served out ( two couples) needs admirably with a little lounge so that we could relax and have a glass of wine. Quite steep steps leading to the cottage.Only grumble... More

Absolutely tops. They started off by upgrading us to a suite. That was followed by amazing drinks and dinner. The views and gardens are simply amazing. The gardener took the time to show off plants and flowers and teach me about them. The staff and service cannot be beat. A perfect spot to get away and relax.

A quite perfect hotel. It retains the atmosphere of a stately country house, with spacious lounges and library and no blaring TV in the public rooms. Interesting illustrated books left for browsing: not just the standard guides. Superb setting with stupendous views and well-tended extensive gardens. Fresh produce from the gardens served in the dining room. Food cooked to perfection... More

We were extremely please with our stay at this private Estate. We got to explore the grounds and we were delighted. The bellman were very helpful and polite. The only issue is our room were quite a distant from the main building. Its a cottage near the spa. The wifi were horrendous. These did not negate our feelings for this... More

Wonderful location set in beautiful formal gardens. Room five had a splendid view of Conwy Castle. Large and comfortable, with king bed, plenty of drawers and cupboard space, very good shower pressure from movable head (important details if you are short)... a very good room. But I was a bit disappointed by the food... my dinner starter had asparagus which... More

I am pleased that the reviewer enjoyed this three night stay in one of our best bedrooms. I wish they had dined in more than once: the duck, poached, was served as it should be, and of course we would have been pleased to serve the asparagus differently if asked. We do bake all breads for lunch and dinner but... More

Stunning location with views of Snowdonia and lovely grounds. The staff couldn't do more to make us feel welcome and at home. Excellent food. All mod cons wrapped up in a beautiful building full of history. We will definitely visit again.
