I have been here quite ofen for high tea, and it is always lovely and good for the soul. Huge portions, but they are very gracious about shared portions. The lunch menu in the main house is superb value for outstanding cuisine that is not to be had anywhere else in North Wales. I also use the spa quite a... More

Stayed in one of the cottages located near the spa. Grounds are beautiful. The food is fantastic especially the Blueberry Soufflé, it was to die for! Staff friendly. Spa treatments also good. This is a very expensive hotel but definitely good for that special occasion.

Our neighbours bought us a Christmas present of 'Afternoon Tea' at Bodysgallen Hall. We had been to the Hall for a wedding reception some 20 years ago and I have had dinner there on several occasions and so we knew we were in for a treat. Not quite sure what to expect and where the tea would be served, we... More

Stayed in one of the cottages located on the property. Beautifully appointed and very spacious. The grounds are breathtaking. You can spend all day walking the gardens and the surrounding woods or just relaxing in the main house with a good book and a cup of tea. The staff sets the standard for truly elegant and impeccable service. The beds... More

We had a most pleasant stay in Park Cottage with the family Cavapoo Poppy. This is one of two cottages that you can take a dog to. The cottage is well appointed, clean and spacious. It compares very favorably with the other cottages on the hotel grounds. Fine dining and great breakfasts were the order of the day. Most enjoyable.... More

Arrived at the spa late for my half a day but was still welcomed warmly. Was shown around and given robe, slippers and towel. The spa included sauna, stream room, hot tube, swimming pool and gym. Very clean and relaxing there. The changing rooms were nice and everything u need in there. I had a full body massages which was... More

One of three National Trust hotels Bodysgallen is highly recommended for a break. It is a very special property and run as a high end 'country house' hotel. We took a five day break with evening meal included which offered value at this expensive destination. Loads of stuff to see locally and good walking. The restaurant is very good indeed, serving... My wife and I stayed at the Bodysgallen Hall for eight days in September 2014. It was a wonderful visit. The service was impeccable, the hotel was comfortable, and the cuisine was outstanding. We found ourselves reluctant to go out sightseeing because we enjoyed the hotel so much.

It's been 4 years since we stayed here and last time our only gripe was that the dinner menu was the same every evening. That still applies but the quality of the food has fallen dramatically. We were there for 3 nights for my birthday treat. On the first evening my wife ordered chicken which, when it finally arrived in... More
