This old Victorian hotel is 4* & it lives up to that billing. Free ice cream on arrival (nice touch) & helpful staff. They cocked - up my newspaper order, but immediately sent someone out to correct it. Our room was spacious & had all the necessary extras you would expect. The bathroom was huge & we really enjoyed the... More

Stayed 4 nights traveling with my elderly mother. Upgraded our room to a superior. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated & immaculately clean. Unfortunately we had a view of a car park! We stayed during a bit of a heat wave... an oscillating fan provided by the front desk kept our room well aired. The bathroom was huge, towels plush,... More

My partner booked a night here so we could enjoy a weekend away. We really enjoyed ourselves. Cant Fault the location- overlooking the sea! Wonderful! The hotel's decor suits the area and period of the property. The reception staff were friendly, and checked us in quickly even with lots of wedding guests around from earlier on in the day (being... stayed here recently for a business event and found it to be a good hotel and in a great location. they have a small car park around the back of the hotel or you can park on the sea front road which is inexpensive. Staff were excellent and friendly, check in was quick and efficient. Room was pleasant with a... More

I stayed at this hotel in 1982 and this was my first visit since. Little has changed apart from repositioning the restaurant. Decoration and interior are like a time warp. Any moment I expected Margaret Thatcher to run in shouting, We've recaptured South Georgia. Rejoice, rejoice!!' Come on Imperial, this isn't good enough!!

We are disappointed to read your review, we especially want to correct you, the hotel has undergone a complete refurbishment since 1982 the last one being 2008, after which the hotel won AA hotel of the Year Wales 2010/11. The majority of our guests enjoy staying with us and some stay several times a year. More

We stayed at this hotel 2 days ago for an impromtu night away; I booked it after first checking Tripadvisor and some hotel websites as there is so much choice in Llandudno. I got an excellent rate (£99 double B&B from booking.com) and was very pleasantly surprised at the level of comfort and standard of maintenance within the hotel, and... More

I stayed at the Imperial Hotel in LLandudno, North Wales, UK, on the 12th July, after much consideration and research on their website and comparing to other hotels nearby. For the price I was being asked £185 for one night including breakfast understandably I jumped to conclusions that a 4 star hotel with such a glam website would be a... More

When I was seven, my mother won a competition with the Family First magazine - a long weekend in the Imperial Hotel in Llandudno. One problem - the prize was for a family of two parents and two kids. Our family has two parents and three kids in it. We phoned up and the staff were lovely about it -... More

Hotel is very dated and needs fleshing up. Breakfast was appalling eggs not cooked bacon as tough as shoe leather also menu stated local sausages used I think they came from ASDA store around corner. Had a single room and bathroom was nearly as big as bedroom

Stayed for just one night but have stayed numerous times over the years. The hotel has been refurbished and that includes the pool and spa. It is very good - clean, comfortable, spacious, attentive and friendly staff. The bedroom was a reasonable size, the bathroom was large. Aircon would have been an appreciated addition. Very pleasant meal in the restaurant.... More
