Have stayed at the rose tor on several occasions and have always found Dave and his team well worth a 5 star rating although only a two star hotel the only thing stopping it going any higher is fact it does not have a lift which is not practical for this hotel

We are still here in this lovely hotel, loads of food at breakfast, husband ate last night in the bar said the foods excellent, really friendly staff and our room is great (24), loads of room very clean with tea+coffee daily. Would stay here again and highly recommend it. You get a key to the front door so you can... More

Spent a lovely weekend in Llandudno only to have it spoilt by the Owners comments, we found him rude and offensive. Rooms where basic, not very clean and a little shoddy. There was tea and coffee facilities but no cups and missing lightbulbs. There was a lot of noise from the street and would definately not be staying there again.

Came for Mothers Day lunch carvery , the place was busy we were seated quite quickly, the menu had a good choice I opted for pate which was very nice, however it would have been better if it was served with toast and not Bread and butter. Main was a choice of meats lamb, beef, pork or Turkey. We all... More

Very friendly staff. Room was basic but very clean and warm (we visited on a very cold and blowy February weekend) . We couldn't have dinner in the hotel because there was a private party going on but this didn't spoil our stay as there are lots of places to eat within easy walking distance. Breakfast was delicious, and the... More

This hotel is situated in Mostyn Street which is very handy for bars and eating places, and about a 5 minute walk to the promenade and the tramway up to the Great Orme. If you want no noise ask for a room at the back as Mostyn Street can get a bit loud at the weekends from the bars and... More

On checking in we were told that if we used our quota of tea/coffee in our room to buy some more at the shop over the road, I've never been told that before! We were given a small room at the front, it was very poky, dated and a bit shabby. There were road works outside, which we had been... More

My partner stayed here for a couple of days in the first week of September. Overall, I agree with the other positive reviews in terms of the friendliness of the place, the quality of the breakfast, and the general niceness of the place. I would have given this hotel a 4 and a half, instead of a 4. The one... More
