We have recently returned from a weekend at this hotel. The food, service & location, especially for shopping & nightlife was good.Apart from larger High street names Llandudno has a good choice of smaller privately owned shops & cafes which helps to provide a very good retail mix.The resort is easily accessible by road & rail ,the station being about... We went to Llandudno for a self drive weekend break. The hotel manager, Miriam was very helpful, as was the young man on reception/bar. Even though we were not officially allowed to book in until 4pm, they allowed us to go up to our room more than an hour earlier, rather than leave our cases in the lounge. The view... More

had four nights at this hotel as part of a coach tour, good value, although the rooms could do with updating, I don't think I would mind paying a bit extra if they were. The staff and owners were great and the food was good would definately recommend as GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY !!

Stayed last weekend just for a local get-away break. We had a comfy room with everything we needed and amazing view of the pier (think we had room 5) lovely to wake up to! Fab cooked breakfasts and friendly staff. Also spent a couple of hours at the bar on the Friday and it was a lovely atmosphere, despite most... More

My wife and I have just spent a weekend at the Min y Don in Llandudno. In general it was enjoyable and a pleasant location to stay. Having read some of the comments on this website both before and after we travelled, I can say that I can agree with some comments, but also disagree with many. The communal areas... More

Four of us spent a two night weekend here on the 6/7 July. The hotel is 2 star, and does not pretend to be anymore than that. It is above basic, with all rooms ensuite, although some are quiet cramped. Our rooms were all we needed, tastefully decorated, with no shortage of hot water. The meals,we were on a bbem tariff, were good is not plentyiful. The... More

Just arrived home after 4 days at the Min-y-Don Hotel. All of the Staff were courteous and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable, the hotels position is ideal. It was our first visit but we hope go back again in the future. All in all excellent value for money.

The hotel is in a prime spot. Me and my partner only stayed there one night so not a lot to comment on... Staff were friendly and helpful upon arrival. Breakfast was great. We were in room twenty and the view we had was beautiful! We were even allowed to go around the rooms to pick which one we wanted!!!... More
