Took a coach trip in June and was very pleased with the area, the hotel and the meals. Everything on the level - shops, banks, theatre, etc, sea front hotel. Could not fault the meals and the friendly staff; bathroom very clean and shower easy to adjust. The room was a bit too warm for me, but delightful dinners with... More

My partner and i stayed here for 1 night for my birthday. We really enjoyed ourselves. Everything was great. Lovely room. Nice food. I was slightly annoyed when the cleaner let herself in at 9am and we were getting dressed. But that would not put me off going again. We would definately stay here again.

We were a party of 44 and the hotel was excellent. Service at breakfast and dinner was superb and the food was fantastic. The dessert menu contained 17 dishes - unfortunately I was only there 3 nights! My room was comfortable, having more than adequate storage space. The staff were courteous, friendly and efficient. One of the best hotels I've... More

Last minute for my birthday, partner and 3 year old daughter decided to re visit Llandudno. The merrion was chosen and it did not disappoint, we were all made to feel very welcome, it is positioned very near town and pier and a stones throw from the beach. Great with a toddler. Staff were really friendly, food was excellent, breakfast... More

We had a lovely weekend at the merrion, we have stayed before and always enjoyed our time there. All the staff are brilliant and hard working, nothing is too much trouble for them. I can highly recommend the food both at breakfast and dinner, we didn't have a sea view but that didn't bother us. The location is great for... More

We had booked two front facing double rooms, both of which were very clean and nicely fitted out. They had both been refurbished and were pleasantly modern. The beds were comfortable and we were pleased to have duvets rather than blankets - at last a hotel that has moved with the times. The rooms both had flat screen tv sets... More

Hi Mkay 2013 Great review thank you. I am delighted you enjoyed your stay and for all your positive comments. Very sorry about the seagull droppings, the birds use that side of the hotel like the Dam busters, we have a hosepipe for cleaning the cars if it happens again. Regards Paul Bream More

We have just come back from a weekend staying at this hotel. I read a lot of the reviews so had high hopes but it was a really disappointing experience. We had requested a spacious room with a sea view and preferably a seating area. We didn't get any of these things and the small room was at the back... More
