We only booked for evening meal as we are staying at another Hotel,as my father preferred a traditional cooked food, when we looked at the menu from the board outside the Queens we decided to give it a try, and we were not dissappointed, excellent, served promptly and hot tasty food. Our waiter " Anglo" was so lovely and pleasant,he... More

Took my 83 year old mum for a night away in Llandudno, hotel was fine but rooms a bit dated. Fire alarm went off at 2am and as mum was on 4th floor (whilst lifts not to be used) it took about 5 mins to get down all the stairs causing a lot of pain to mum's knees. N0-one seemed... More

Unfortunately the fire alarm was sounded due to the minor smouldering in the Laundry Room, as mentioned, and it was necessary for the hotel to be evacuated as a precautionary measure. We have an addressable fire system, with an early detection system, with sounders and detectors present in each room of the hotel and all fire precautions and checks are... More

Let's go through the good points, which are numerous. First, the staff is friendly and helpful. I am there on a working trip and need an early breakfast, at 7.30 am. No problem at all! The rooms are also always kept clean and tidy. The water from the shower is warm, and the temperature is easy to control. Many channels... More

We were in llandudno for the brilliant annual Victorian Extravaganza, and asked a steward for a good place to eat. he recommended the Queens Hotel, as apparently all the committee eat there! So we gave it a try, and were very pleased with the place. The bar and dining room were full of people, but service was quick and the... More

I phoned the hotel very last minute just before the Bank Holiday, to check if they had a room, and was offered a deal of Dinner, Bed & Breakfast for just £55.00 per person with a large family sea view room. That seemed very reasonable, given the Victorian weekend event going on in all weekend in Llandudno so took up... More

When we are out for the day we don’t often eat at a hotel because they always seem so expensive. However, we looked at the menus outside the Queens, saw the price was right, and gave it a go! Great idea, excellent service, lovely meal, recommended.

Since our last vist previous year the hotel had had some decor done however service had gone down. Appeared to be not as many staff. Rooms not as clean and a smell of must prevailed. I was taken ill New Years Day and had to wait until 6.00pm evening meal time to get all the cars moved on the car... More

Thank you for your review and previous review in September 2011 regarding a previous visit when you highly rated the hotel. We are sorry to hear you thought the service was not as good as your previous stay. As you mention, this was your 9th New Year with us which, unfortunately, you had to cut short by a day which,...
