Visited this hotel in April and stayed for 3 nights. The hotel though old-fashioned was spotlessly clean, There is a lift which is very handy. The bedroom was small but had everything we needed.Plenty of hot water, clean towels and tea & coffee for those who enjoy a cuppa. Meals were lovely with waitress service which was excellent, nothing was too much... More

A great family run hotel with friendly accommodating staff. Food, room, service and entertainment first class. A hotel with a great atmosphere and a place where the weather doesn't matter. It was central for shops and visiting interesting places. Definitely an hotel to return to.

Great weekend thanks to efficient owners and their friendly staff. Stayed three nights on coach trip. Hotel was spotless and comfortable. 4 sockets for all devices, lots of tea and coffee in room, soft white towels changed during our stay. Hot shower, good soundproofing and television. Yale lock for bedroom could be locked from inside. Food choices ideal and served... More

This is a coach tour stop, not a hotel, it is run as a machine and if have the need to be an individual then the machine will roll over you. You cannot have an extra hours sleep, there was no lock inside the bedroom, so the cleaner will come in. Don't be late for your designated table and meal... More

The Evans Hotel recently hosted a spiritual weekend of which I was a member. The price of the package was so cheap that I envisaged that I would have to be prepared to go out and find decent meals. What a surprise! The food was excellent. It was homely food, three courses every meal each and everyone extremely edible. The... More

Four night stay with Edwards Coach Holidays. Hotel well placed for shops, seafront and location attractions. Staff welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Food excellent and well presented. Comfortable bed with loads of pillows and lovely hot shower. Well heated and no draughts with large double-glazed windows. And free wifi in reception/bar area. A real family feeling. Only criticism is... More

Stayed at this Hotel with a coach party. Our room was particularly cold on arrival and we spent the first night sleeping with dressing gowns on and coats over the counterpane to try and keep warm. Apparently, there were a few rooms on our floor that had problems with the central heating. We did request a heater, which was brought... More

Had a great weekend with friends and family. Staff are excellent, food second to none and the bar prices are very reasonable. Hotel is close to shops, pier and train station. Would recommend a stay for all age groups.

I spent the inside of a week at this hotel on a coach winter break holiday. The holiday started with a very efficient reception. The room was adequate - clean with a very comfortable bed. The central heating was super efficient and this was easily amended by having an open window! The shower and en-suite was a little cramped and... More
