Extended family reunion of thirty people ranging from 85yrs to 3months. Good location on sea front - 10 minute walk to the pier (5 minutes if wind not blowing). Very good food. Lovely staff. Magnificent dining room of huge proportions. Somewhat rambling building but very good value for money. Clean rooms.

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel as part of a Alfa coach tour and when we arrived it was like taking a step back in time the room was a double but very very small the bathroom had a shower that leaked all over the floor there was no hot water at peak time ie 0700-0900 and 1630-1800... More

Just back after a most enjoyable long week end at the Hydro. Thouroughly recommend it. Great food ,excellent service from happy helpfull staff and spotless accomadation.
