Stayed at the Hydro on a five day break with Alfa Travel and had an enjoyable stay. The staff are a credit to the hotel especially our waitress Timea who was so pleasant and efficient . the room was comfortable and clean . Hope to return in the near future.

We spent four nights at Easter this year. Having stayed at a Leisureplex hotel before we arrived with a level of expectation and were not disappointed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful during our stay. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, although the layout was strange with plenty of room on one side of the bed with... More

A typical 'old fashioned' hotel, dated, but pleasant to stay at. We had a room at the back, overlooking the car park, but could see the mountains, which was nice. The room was bright although a bit 'tired' looking, but was pleasant enough. The breakfast was nice, with lovely staff serving the meal. We found all the staff to be... More

First impressions of the Hydro hotel were fine, if a little dated - the outside sign and exterior looks quite dated, very 1970's but still reasonably smart. The inside was similar - dated, smart but very "worn"; it would have been quite something 30 years ago but it has a "patch up and make do" kind of feel; any kind... More

If you require these extras it may be worth looking for a four star hotel. There are some lovely rooms with sea views at the front of the hotel but these naturally have a... More

We stayed for a 8 day holiday at this hotel and although the decor is a bit dated it was all very clean. We arrived when Wimbledon final was on which I wanted to see but when we put the TV on we could not get BBC1. I phoned down to reception and within 10 minutes a very helpful maintenance... More
