Arrived after the check in time and was told by Neil that our room(No 4) was not ready and could we take a walk for 25 minutes, not a great welcome after a long journey. Had a wonderful 2 night stay recently at the Carmel Hotel. Service is second to none, rooms well appointed and very clean. Views are spectacular. Bistro is a credit to the owners - food was fantastic and as good as any top restaurant. Well done to Neil and Gillian.
