good clean hotel , homley and friendly [ dog lovers ] we took our little dog and we were all made welcome

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was ultra clean and Gwen made us very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Close proximity to everything and an excellent location for exploring North Wales. We had a really happy time and will stay at the Winchmore again if we ever revisit the area.

I feel this is going to be a hard review to write as although there weren't any major problems there were a lot of 'buts'. I want to give you an honest insight into the hotel. Stayed here with my 80 year old mum and two daughters. Lovely clean rooms with sea views and tea/coffee making facilities. Arrived to find the seafront room we had booked was not available and were given a room looking over the back above a flat roof where seagulls were nesting and spent the day and night squaking. Having selected the Winchmore from the brochure in 2009 we were delighted with our choice and it was a no brainer to return in July 2011. We are pleased to say that we do not regret our choice. Room--Excellent Food--Excellant, Staff-- Excellant,You certainly get more for the price than we expected, The Breakfast set-up was different, but again, no problem, we highly reccomend that you try this hotel out, tou will not get better for the price!!!! V&C.
