I booked this hotel for all the family to stay together for a four night stay in our favourite sea side town. We arrived at the Hotel to a friendly welcome from Nicki who was on reception. My wife and I, along with our Son, stayed in a family room, number 34. My wife's parents stayed in room 25. Both... More

Thank you for your review and very kind comments. To receive such an accolade from a ‘Senior Contributor’ is praise indeed. We take customer service and cleanliness very seriously; we do not get it right all the time, but certainly try! Mum & Dad in law seemed to enjoy their meal which we believe is good value for money, 3... More

I am in the Winchmore for a week every month, and I find the hotel, very clean, and homely, and the staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble, they will bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable restaurant staff, Sarah, and Vicki, brilliant, and very fast, and Mike the magician, very funny man, would not hesitate to recommend... Thank you for your review Sue. The groups you bring on the coach have been great. It is so nice for us to have the same coach driver each time who knows the drill as it were. As you say we have various rooms accessible via lift encountering no steps at all, anywhere in the building. The two wet rooms... More

The good points, very clean rooms, hotel staff were friendly and attentive, location very good and rooms at the front have lovely views of the promenade, and sea . Minuses, was the lack of a shower in the family room bathroom. I did mention this to one of the staff, who told me they had been searching for one of... More

Thank you for taking the trouble to write a review, which indicates, you enjoyed some of your stay? We have only 5 rooms with bath, all the rest with walk in showers. The majority of families ask for a bath for the children? We have 30 rooms and spent £1000’s on them but not all have been completed as yet... More

Arrived two hours early able to check in and go to our room which was lovely as we could enjoy our limited down time. We brought our dog and she could go where she wanted in the hotel except dining room I think that was really nice as at one point on the holiday she just settled and slept in... More

We stayed for one night with our family of four. It was ideally located and very reasonably priced. We arrived a couple of hours early and to our delight, the staff were very friendly and said our room was ready. The family room was great and the children loved their separate room and television. The hotel was pleasing for attention... More

Thank you for taking the trouble to write a review and such a great one! Check in is 3.00pm but whenever possible we try to get rooms ready as quickly as we can, not always guaranteed though. We have a number of family rooms which seem to fit most requests, some all in the same room and some with two... More

Lovely hotel in central location, nice and clean with on site parking. Welcoming and friendly staff. Nice spacious room with very generous tea/coffee making facilities in room. We stayed with a young child and we found them very family friendly. Excellent choice of breakfast and substantial full English. Thanks for a great stay.

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the review. As a major contributor you obviously take reviews as seriously as we do, so it really does give the team a boost when they see such genuine comments. We hope to welcome the three of you back sometime in the future? More

Hotel clean enough ,but very dated £75 for 1 night there are better hotels in the area for that price,it probably would suit the elderly contingent.Breakfast was good and quite quick, just an average hotel really could not stay more than 1 night.

Thank you for taking the trouble to review your recent visit. Clearly a case of ‘you can please some.....etc...’ As a fairly scathing review why is it they are always written by ‘anonymous’ or guests who do not use their real name,so we have no idea when or in which room they stayed? It would appear from your other reviews,... More

Well, your review is perhaps not the best, but unfortunately you stayed in June – 7 weeks ago – so we are unable to ascertain who was on reception or indeed which room you were in? It would appear from your comments you made no representation re reception or the room to Management who would have been more than happy... More

We stayed at this great hotel for three nights and we were very impressed with staff, cleanliness, comfort, location and breakfast!. Can't fault anything Previous review mentioned only one lift but throughout our stay there was never anyone else in the lift and we didn't have to wait long.
