Our host was waiting for us with complementary refreshments, explanations, tips and advice. Free parking just across the road. Good location for St Omer town centre and the nearby WW11 monuments "La Coupole" and the V2 Blockhouse at Eperlecques (both well worth visiting!) The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean and the breakfast room was a delight with... More

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for a 'getaway weekend'. The hotel was in a great location and we had the sea view room on the first floor. We could easily walk into town, which was great for the Saturday evening. We had a lovely view, the hotel was clean and the breakfast was delicious (although no veggie... More

My daughter and I stayed here whilst using the Conference centre in Eastbourne on 2 November. I found David the owner to be helpful and attentive. Our particular room was a little "floral" but was incredibly clean and we appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities and the biscuits ! Breakfast was great. Location is good with a fantastic sea... More

Thoroughly enjoyed by stay here. David very welcoming and helpful. Sea-facing room was fabulous. Great breakfast. An old building that has character. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, Great base for walking at Beachy Head as well as strolling on the prom.

The b&b is on the seafront, although our room looked to the town. They have many rooms, and ours was on the 4th floor (with no lift). The room was spacious although the bathroom was very small (most of all basin). The bathroom door wasn't a real door but a shutter window. You can imagine privacy was very very limited... More

My husband and I booked in late to this hotel, without a reservation and were welcomed warmly. The room was bright and clean and extremely comfortable. Delicious breakfast and a very friendly place to stay.

I normally stay at a very well-run and established hotel in Eastbourne where I know the owners fairly well and as they were taking a well-deserved holiday they recommended me an alternative hotel to stay at the hotel St Omer. Fortunately there was a spare room available but I would advise you to book early for the best choice of... More

Very disappointed with our recent experience at this hotel. We booked this through laterooms.com the day before travelling to Brighton to visit our daughter. We had driven for nearly 3 hours with our 10 year old boy. We were welcomed by an oriental lady who said that the owner was out and can we come back in an hour. Just... More

I knocked on the locked door of St Omer's at about 10 pm on a Saturday night in September. We (family of four including two teenagers) had been driving around for over four hours between Brighton, Lewes and Eastbourne looking for accomodation with no luck. Fortunately the owner let me in and showed me the family room he had available.... More

I know a lot of people have reviewed this place quite highly but this should be put into perspective. It's not a cute place but it is friendly. The owner is a really nice guy and his French maid (yes, a real one) is very charming. Cooks a great English breakfast. We did have a sea view room as requested.... More
