We had to stay in Eastbourne for work and deciding to avoid the characterless Premier inns and Travelodges we sometimes end up in, we went to Ocklynge. We were made so welcome. The house is gorgeous, fittings and linen absolutely immaculate and a cracking breakfast which left us very relaxed for work and so wishing we could stay another night!... more

Our stay was lovely, although on business and we didn't get to linger at breakfast (a shame!). We were incredibly well looked after by Wendy who is friendly and helpful. The property itself is just stunning with much attention to detail. Certainly worthy of it's 5 star rating. more

My husband and I stayed at Ocklynge Manor for a long weekend in Decenber and we thought it was fabulous. The house itself is beautiful and our room was lovely - crisp linen sheets, comfy beds, spotlessly clean and a lovely view of the garden. It is by far the best b&b we have stayed in. Wendy was a lovely... more

We spent a two night break at Ocklynge Manor and from the moment we arrived the welcome and homely atmosphere were beyond anything we have experienced elsewhere. Wendy and David went to great lengths to ensure our comfort and nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is something out of a fairy tale and our spotlessly clean and beautifully... more

Stayed for 2 nights at Ocklynge manor which was a delight. The owners were very helpful and even gave us a lift to the starting point of our long walk over the South Downs (which was stunning). The room was spacious and spotlessly clean with everything you might need including a selection of DVDs to choose from and luxury bath... more

This is our 6th stay at Ocklynge Manor in 2 years and it never fails. It is without doubt the very best B&B in Sussex and probably in the UK. (Believe me we have tried many) Wendy and David are the most superb hosts and leave no detail to chance. Staying at the Manor is like coming home. We will... more

Just spent a wonderful weekend at Ocklynge manor. Wendy and David are excellent hosts and we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble to help us enjoy our stay. Tea and home made cakes when we arrived, overlooking the garden, was a real treat. Breakfast was superb and set us up... more

My husband & I have just spent 2 nights at Ocklynge Manor and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated and everything was spotless. We were made welcome from the moment we arrived & tea & delicious home made cake was a real bonus! Wendy & David seem to have thought of everything you could possibly... more

My partner and I travelled to the South Coast for a couple of days to use up our last few days holiday of the year and to see our football team (Kettering Town) play away to Eastbourne Borough. We googled b&bs in Eastbourne and came across Ocklynge Manor which seemed to offer extraordinarily good value for money so we booked... more
