Well, I haven't stayed in them all but I cannot imagine anywhere better. Spent 2 nights in August and wish it could have been longer. We really enjoyed our stay at Brayscroft House. The owners were welcoming and the room very comfortable, clean and well furnished. Just off the main promenade at the Beachy Head end, it was convenient for walking from the hotel and also not too far to walk into the shops or along to the pier. I went to Eastbourne for a getaway weekend with a couple of girlfriends and we chose to stay at the Brayscroft Hotel. All the rooms are lovely - very comfortable and tastefully decorated, with a real attention to detail (the bathrooms were a highlight, in particular one room that has a traditional roll top bath once used by Virginia Woolf!).... more
