Stayed two nights in a twin room for a conference which we attended at the Winter Gardens. The room was very nice - plenty of seating. We had a balcony which looked straight out onto the sea. The shower was slightly difficult to manage but that was my only criticism. One of the evenings we didn't feel ready to eat... more

Don't often review the places I stay, (cos I do stay in hotels so often!) but felt should on this occasion. Booked before seeing previous review, so arrived with fear and trepidation, to find one of the friendliest, clean hotels I've stayed in years. Staff were really friendly and attentive, food was good (given the price!) and the room, although... more

Stayed here for one night, the whole place wants refurbishing. The bar and lounge are like something out of the 70s, as are the rooms, but they are kept clean. Found it depressing was glad to leave. more

Checked into the hotel for one night whilst at a conference in Eastbourne. So I can't fault the location - it's on the seafront - but that was the only highlight. My friend and I stood at the reception for 15 minutes waiting to check in, while the only staff member took a phone call. When we finally managed to... more

Stayed here for 7 days whilst watching tennis. I've stayed in some odd places in eastbourne in previous years, but i'll deffo stay here again. Check in is easy, lifts are speedy. Room with a balcony, mine overlooked the beach, was really nice. Massive room with 2 queen beds. The paint was a kinda 1970's green in the bathroom, but... more

Great stay at the Eastbourne Centre, and rates are easy on those of us with dollars. My balcony single (#512) had a huge balcony that was almost as big as the room and looked straight out over the ocean and down the Grand Parade. Room decor is frayed around the edges 70s era, but everything works and all the basics... more

Stayed in this hotel for two nights in June, while attending a conference at another venue in Eastbourne. Considering the price (£ 46 per night, including breakfast), I thought this was excellent value for money. Booking by phone was very efficient, with helpful information, and a written confirmation arrived the next day. The hotel is purpose-built (as a hotel and... more
