This was the first time I had stayed at this hotel, although I had stayed in Eastbourne many times. I traveled with Gibbons - brilliant. What a lovely hotel. Although my single room was small it was spotless, as was the en-suite. The room appeared to have been recently refurbished, let us hope future guests do not abuse it. The... More

Entertainment is a major recommendation for this hotel. Heidi, the entertainment manager, is extremely enthusiastic and hard working, providing almost non-stop fun and games though most seemed based on bingo. The dance floor downstairs is small so unless you get there early you could finish up not always able find a seat. All the staff seemed efficient and eager to... More

Just returned from a Tinsel & Turkey weekend & we were not disappointed. Travelled independently & we were greeted by very friendly staff & issued with scratch card for car parking at a cost of £1 per day but Saturday's tickets covers you until 11.00am Monday. We requested room 205 as we had stayed here earlier in the year. Room... More

This hotel is run so efficiently the breakfasts are served at the table hot and beautifully cooked - brilliant poached eggs! The menu is varied and service prompt. Heidi the entertainments manager works her socks off in a lighthearted way and the decorations are changed to keep pace with the festive season. I would highly recommend Haddon Hall as a... More

Another fantastic weekend at the seaside hotel, yards form the beach and part fire damaged pier. The staff were fantastic as before. I arranged to reserve a table for a small group and this was without hesitation. We had the same waiter that we had in March who delivered perfect service for all meals. I drove down so needed car... A lovely few days spent at this hotel. Clean, warm and comfortable and well posltioned just off the main promenade and a few minutes walk to the town centre. The staff all seemed eager to please and the service at meal times was done with military precision! A good, varied choice of food which was always well cooked and tasty.... More

We had a long weekend here as part of a coach holiday. The staff were very good and the food was excellent. Not too much, but just enough and well cooked. We had a front bedroom with a bit of a sea view. It was small and basic, but comfortable and clean. No compaints. The only fault we had was... More

3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2014

Haddon Hall is a classic, English seaside hotel - it serves its purpose well enough for the price but don't expect sophistication. I was grateful that I'd paid extra for a twin room, as the single rooms that my friends had been allocated were woefully small. Rooms are clean but the beds are made up with blankets instead of duvets,... More

Another comfortable time with the usual staff welcome. Nothing to much trouble for them. The question is it quiet, normally a peaceful nights sleep is the norm Beds comfie.Good home cooked meals. My friends try to stay there when ever in the area, we keep going back.
