Decided to spend August bank holiday in Eastbourne and stayed at the Palm Court for the first time. The staff and owner were some of the friendliest people you could wish to meet and went out of their way to make sure guests enjoyed their stay. Our room was comfortable and clean and enjoyed a good nights sleep. The food... More

Went to Eastbourne to participate in local event. Two night stay £££, including breakfast. I really wanted this hotel to be a great one. It's suited to octogenarians. Request for quiet room for disabled was met with blazing social club style entertainment from opposite hotel starting at 9pm. Both Friday until 1am and Saturday night finished a bit earlier. The... This was our first visit and we were pleased with the rooms - we booked a double and a twin room and were amazed how much bigger both the room and the ensuite bathroom was for the twin room, compared with the double room. Also the twin room had better and more facilities: a radio, a bigger wardrobe, a bath... More

We stayed at this hotel last year and were very pleased with our holiday, however this year? what a let down. Staff were indifferent to our comments, unhelpful and patronising. We were not given the walk in shower room we requested, we are slightly disabled and cannot get into a bath, there was dirt around grab rails in bathroom, television... More

further to your comments, we are also disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay with us. You did not book a disabled room with a wet room nor did you request one. All our rooms are en suite some have showers and some have baths. When you came to reception on Sunday to settle your bill you did not... More
