We regularly use both Travelodge and Premier Inn. This is the first Travelodge that has prompted a poor review. We stayed two nights in a family room on the second floor. The room was extremely hot which was to be expected for summer. However leaving the windows open didn't cool the room but did allow the deafening racket from the... More

Hotel is just as my title says one night is ok, -- wouldn't stay longer. Even though you get a clean room with a comfortable bed, lots of hot water, tea and coffee making facilities, a flat screen TV and WiFi -- free for 30 minutes then a couple of pounds for 24 hours. The hotel is on an industrial... More

2 very polite and welcoming ladies saw us through check-in very quickly. We went up to a nice size room and a reasonably comfortable bed. From then on, it wasn't great. There are dings and dents in the wall (I thought a 3 star had to have well looked after rooms?) and plaster had dropped from the ceiling leaving another... More

Although some of the rooms are a bit tired ,the beds are clean and comfortable. The staff helpful . There is a carvery just across the car park plus a Morrison's supermarket just round the corner should you need picnic food. Have stayed here overnight several times and will do again

You get what you pay for! If you just need somewhere to sleep this is ideal. A couple of tips. Walk just over half a mile to Hampden Park Station to get the train to Eastbourne. The rail trip takes under 5 minutes and it's cheap. Buy your breakfast at Morrisons, it's on the way to the station. However, the... More

Very friendly staff with good knowledge of the area. Good quiet location next to Toby Carvery, which has good quality food at low cost. Excellent value for money......................................................

Arrived late at night and was directed by satnav to Premier Inn! On ringing the hotel directions were provided. The lady on reception was extremely helpful and provided lots of information and equipment. The room was quite large but the beds were tiny and fairly uncomfortable. It does seem in need of an update but ok for the one night... More

I have currently stayed at the hotel and very good location and nice clean rooms and very nice staff including the receptionist Michelle very friendly and helpfull and the cleaners are very nice and friendly! The only thing I can say is that the hotel needs to be updated and could do with a refurbishment as it is a bit... More

Strange location but happy with the accommodation and service for what we paid for. Perhaps the second bed for the children should have been at same level and not one higher than the other. With twins....they always want the same!
