For the price, this hotel is fine - clean rooms, a beach view right opposite the pier in the centre of things (can mean noise on a Friday night when people are heading home!), free wifi and cooked breakfast. This said, common areas - carpets - need some TLC. There is a lift, but this is an old building, so... More

Booked through booking.com there was no issues with my brother also had to cancel one night this was done and confirmed by booking.com without any issues. Upon arrival at the hotel the receptionist stroke owner tried to book my brother in for the two night! When my brother explained he had cancelled the sat night. The lady rudely said had... More

We stayed at the Pier Hotel last night and thought it was just fine for the £56 we paid for the double sea-front room and cooked breakfast. As everyone else has pointed out, the hotel is a bit jaded and could probably do with a total renovation but I would prefer to stay here over the Travelodge, as there is... More

We paid £110 for a two night stay (MAY 2012) and thus didn't expect anywhere amazing, just somewhere clean and convenient. Everything seemed quite average on arrival (which we expected), the hotel is in need of a facelift and seems a little rough around the edges, but nothing that drastic. This theme continued into the room we were given, the... More

Good location near pier, seafront, shopping, restaurants etc. The room was OK with an Ok bathroom and bedroom area. There was a hospitality tray, hairdryer and TV. No chairs but enough room as we didn't plan to be in the room except to sleep. We didn't eat in the hotel nor use the bar so cannot comment on these. Reception staff were friendly... More

Arrived hotel after completing last section of South Downs Way. It was easy to find on foot, so can't comment on parking problems. Check-in was swift and given twin room at back of hotel on 1st floor. Average room, probably could do with a lick of paint, but sufficient for the money paid. On running a bath, could not draw... Hello Everybody - Welcome to my review of Eastbourne's Pier Hotel. For my birthday celebration this year my wife and myself decided to treat ourselves to a short break at a nice hotel just a short travelling distance away from our home in East Sussex for a couple of nights in April 2012. After having checked all the usual internet... More

We arrived at this hotel at approximately 17.50pm on a Saturday evening at the end of March, and stood in line to book in. While we were standing there a lady came downstairs to complain that somebody else was in her room. As our room was directly opposite we saw what happened. Three people were actually in the room, watching... More

We were a family of 4 adults and a 4 year old, travelled over the easter period 2012, on arriving the hotel looked OK from the outside, quite clean were my thoughts, the reception lady was friendly enough, we arrived early so we sat in the lounge and had a coffee which was very nice, then the lady came in...
