Considering that the Hotel has just changed management and they are feeling their feet, we had a really lovely weekend at the Pier. The rooms are slightly dated but very clean and although our room was at the rear of the Hotel, it was pleasant and very quiet. We acquired a parking card from reception which allowed us to park... Coming to Eastbourne for the yearly tennis event, me and my friend stayed at this hotel for the first time. We chose a room with sea view and were not disappointed. Great view of the Eastbourne pier from all room windows. The room itself was very nice, though a little dated. We stayed at the top floor, where the water... More

Stayed for just the one night for work purposes. Greeted by very friendly staff and made to feel welcome. Room was clean, well equipped and with a great sea view Very adequate breakfast in a pleasant dining room. One point to note is that as you go up the stairs they and the landing all slope slightly reflecting the age... More

The location could not be better. The elderly couple who run the place and their staff are all welcoming and doing a great job. Breakfast very good in a large room with a view. The rooms are quaintly decorated, though a little dated. Ours was a little on the small side, but with a good view of the pier and... More

The hotel is in a great location and the owners are real characters (in a good way). If you're a light sleeper the noise at night is a problem due to the night club on the pier at kicking out time. We had a lovely large room with a sea view and a fantastic huge T.V (if you're bothered about... More

good location and NCP down road for £3 per day. Breakfast fine, rooms were large if a little tired. Hot water temperamental. Shouty pikeys let out after midnight so a bit loud. Family deal really cheap and for a sea view hotel you cant realy moan

This hotel is in an ideal location but the parking is dreadful and this was on a weekend in May - dread to think what it must be like in the holiday season. We had a lovely room for three adults overlooking the front with a four poster bed, but after one of us had a bath there was insufficient... More

Lovely, helpful receptionist but this hotel has tired decor, dodgy TV's, time restricted concierge. The nightclub noise at 02:00am was dreadful (Wednesday evening!!) from our room (305) at the front - sea facing aspect. Squeaky floors. Breakfast reasonable for (UK) traditionalists. This is NOT a boutique hotel, it is very much a budget hotel.

....before booking a stay at this hotel. At £90 for a one night stay in a double room with a sea view, I don't feel this was value for money. The place in all areas needs decorating, the TV kept losing the signal and the hair dryer in the bathroom did not work. Breakfast, whilst being totally acceptable was only... More
