Located on the promenade overlooking the sea this hotel is close to the centre and all its amenities. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is fine if you ae wanting a cheap overnight stop, The cooked breakfast is very good. Would stay again.

The hotel is located close to everything being opposite the pier but the disadvantage of this is the noise outside didnt get a wink of sleep. our room was small but comfortable the bathroom needs updating tap handle fell off and shower leaked shower head needs descaling grout needs cleaning...all easy. The staff were helpful and friendly breakfast was nice... More

As its name implies this hotel is right in the heart of Eastbourne opposite the pier. It's grandeur is faded and it needs a revamp, but the welcome was warm and the bedroom comfortable. Value for money was excellent. I didn't have the cooked breakfast, but coffee was good and plentiful. I wouldn't spend a family holiday here, but as... More

Stayed at The Pier Hotel for one night as we were going to the Theatre in Eastbourne..Check in was fine and parked right at the side of Hotel (permit from reception for £1.00)..Very nice chap on reception but he seemed to be doing everything but was very helpful..The room we had was at the back and was not very inviting.Carpet... I stayed from April 6th-9th inclusive in an insultingly small single room; there was neither a beaker for a drink nor a telephone. The front was covered in scaffolding - I woke from a siesta to find a workman fag in hand swearing about something standing right outside the window. The staff seem poorly trained: the male breakfast waiter did... More

My wife and I stayed for one night in April 2015. The hotel is in a great location right opposite the end of the pier. It is very convenient for the seafront and shops. There is no parking but the hotel provides a ticket for on street parking. The hotel was covered in scaffolding as they seemed to be replacing the... I went there for one night. The reception staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much bother. The room was very clean and warm with lots of period features. I had a beautiful view of the sea and the pier which was directly opposite outside of the window. There was a full English breakfast included in the price of... More

Although I have rated this very good, it doesn't deserve an average. Staff were very pleasant, breakfast was excellent - unlimited cereals, tea, coffee, toast and an English Breakfast cooked to order (as much as you liked). The room was a little small and in need of a little TLC, but was very clean with a really comfy bed and... More
