My friend and I wanted a one night stay in Eastbourne and decided to book a twin room atThe Pier. On arrival, it was like a Fawley Towers , we dropped our bags at recepton off and went into town. We arrived back and our got our keys and were asked to pay then. We got into the lift, very... More

My boyfriend managed to get a last minute deal here. We stayed for two nights and had a brilliant view of the pier and the sea. The room was really comfortable and the en-suite bathroom clean and offering plenty of towels and a nice luxurious bathmat. Wished we'd stayed longer to enjoy the fish restaurant. I believe they do good... More

Having paid over £200 for a three nights stay we were expecting a reasonable level of comfort in this hotel which was admittedly in a stunning location. On arrival we were met with major parking problems however having read the literature we understood the hotel had arrangements with the local NCP car park however upon request thing a discount to... We got a cheap last minute deal with breakfast and were very happy with our one night at this hotel. The location is very central being opposite the pier. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the breakfast was good for the price (although hubby would have liked mushrooms with his full English breakfast). The hotel is Victorian and is... More

More like a B&B than a hotel. Nobody on duty after dinnertime, you have to let yourself in with a key. The Victorian staircases are crooked, giving the house a quaint feel. Free wifi throughout, but it kept dropping. The position is absolutely perfect, right opposite the bus stops and the pier. However, the seafront was very noisy at night... More

Stayed overnight on a business trip. Drove around for 20 minutes trying to find a parking space eventually found one. Check in was ok and given room on first floor room was dark and window was lodged open with a bottle of some kinda fish food as that was the only way to keep it open. Bar closes at 9... More

First impression, living near Weymouth we got what we expected. Nice outside, dated but ok inside. Huge TV for the room! We booked via booking.com but despite the list of seemingly pointless questions we were asked, non mentioned a front or rear view.. Our view was a wall, roofs, a ladies slipper and the bloody remains of a pigeons wing...... More

My dream to sleep in a four poster bed. What a surprise when my husband booked a weekend away with exactly that. What a shock the Hotel looked very tired, when we saw the room it was a small, the bed seemed to be on a tilt with the foot of the bed higher. The sheet never fitted the bed... More

We planned and booked for a two night stay at the Pier Hotel (Relaxinnz). We had booked a double room with a four poster bed as it was something my wife had always wanted to do. The Manager checked us in and we paid in advance. The room was somewhat disappointing, there was a problem with the toilet cistern, where... More
