Clean rooms, comfortable beds and exceptional food. Had a problem with room security as we were unable to lock our room door, Staff did try to remedy the situation, without success, so our room could be entered from the corridor for the duration of our stay..

Location perfect -- facing the promenade and sea. There appeared to have been some recent renovation and continuing, but this led to an early shock, on arrival. Having a confirmed Bed and Breakfast reservation, there was some dismay at check-in to be told that breakfast would need to be taken at a sister establishment some "two blocks away along the... Okay, where to begin. Was in a group attending a conference. Location of this hotel was ideal, close to the conference centre, the beach, pubs, restaurants and a few shops. Hotel itself was a bit outdated, as was some of the décor. However rooms were adequate, bed comfortable and all was clean. There were some issues which needed attending to... More

Visited with large group on a conference trip. Hotel looks lovely from outside, on the front facing the sea, so great position. Entrance and main floor are well decorated and well appointed. Rooms are in need of updating, however, they were clean, warm and comfortable. All staff were pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and staff attentive. Don't listen to... More

Reception staff very helpful and friendly as were the Restaurant staff. Food done in Buffet style for Breakfast and Carvery for Dinner. All very good. Bedroom, single but clean, very roomy and with a sea view. Big TV with all Freeview channels. The only problem was toilet very short for some reason. I was part of a coach trip and was... More

after booking this hotel online we were very disappointed, we paid extra to have a seaview room but it was so small & in bad condition we had to leave & book in at another hotel along the seafront.when we complained about the room we were told that we would lose £126.00 for cancelling.after going back to the room we... We stayed here as a group of 12 celebrating a family birthday and due to the nature of our stay, we decided to keep our opinions of the hotel to ourselves for the duration of our stay. I'll start with the positives......great location, almost directly opposite the bandstand on the seafront and within easy level walk to the shops and... More

Stayed here as part of a coach trip. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable and had a sea view.Room probably could have done with a bit of modernizing but didn't affect my opinion of the hotel. The food is brilliant. I had carvery dinners each night and it was... More

This hotel looks much better on the pictures. The reality is it looks older and not so comfortable when you visit it. Its location is great though. It was clean, the staff was ok but the breakfast was horrible. I don't think the price was fair to be honest.
