I booked to stay at this establishment over Easter weekend, and cannot have wished for a better stay. My room was clean and tidy and the staff were both helpful and polite. I will return in the near future. The food was also very good, A thumbs up from me.

As other reviews have pointed out this hotel is tired and needs a facelift both inside and out. However, this is not the main issue that guests will have to face if travelling independently. I stayed with my Mum for six nights on a bed and breakfast basis. We each had a double room with sea view. These rooms were... More

The hotel is extremely shabby and in dire need of refurbishment - peeling paint, very obvious water damage to some ceilings, and worn carpets. The pillows are cheapest of the cheap - thin and rock hard. I actually went and bought one from a local shop as I couldn't sleep with those provided. Although the food was generally okay in... More

I stayed for 2 days at this Hotel and had a lovely time. My room was a side room, which was clean, well cared for and as well as tea/coffee facilities, we had the extra facility of a fridge, which was a nice touch. I travelled to the Hotel on a coach trip and from the time we arrived the... More

I have visited this hotel before and although it is a bit tired looking you get a clean room and very good food. A buffet breakfast and dinner is provided and the meat is to die for. It is situated right on the sea front although not all rooms have a sea view you can request one

Only went for a Christmas party, the food was goodbut the alcohol was weak and the fizzy drinks were not fizzy and the dj was rubbish as he did not listen to anyones request and spent most of the evening playing 70's music even though everyone asked for more modern music, other than that it was an enjoyable night. The breakfasts were great and there was plenty, it was self service so you could take as little or much as you liked and it was good quality bacon and sausage.Evening meals were lovely too,we were served the starter then it was a carvery and... The previous reviews concerned me. I was happy with the basic lot of the hotel. The receptionist was very helpful. The general appearance was certainly rather tired but I expected this based on the reviews. Breakfast was ok and the service good.
