Room very old fashioned, wardrobe was an old airing cupboard and only 2 plugs in the room. There were noisy extractor fans in the bathroom and one of the reception staff was very sarcastic. No outside seating area outside, most of the residents went to the hotel next store.

This was our fifth trip with Robinsons, but the first visit to Eastbourne, the Imperial is a lovely hotel, the staff are the friendliest and most helpful bunch of people we have come across. Our room was a premium room at the front of the hotel, lovely and clean, but I forgot to ask for a shower instead of a... More

We are half way through our stay with Robinsons and we think the hotel is a high standard compared to usual coach trips. Staff very friendly, food well above average for coach hols; worth paying xtra for premium room. Did not expect a sea view. Hotel deco good; cleanliness excellent. Beds bit too comfy!!

Hotel good staff good. There are no proper ramps into the hotel you have clime about six steps while a member of staff pushes your mobility scooter up a temporary ramp not good. The dining room is down about four steps there is no ramp. This hotel would have got a better review if it had made proper provision for... More

The hotel is located just minutes away from the seafront. It is a well maintained building. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very nice. Cleanliness of carpets and rooms could be slightly better though.

We had a 2 night stay for 2 breakfast and dinner. We could not fault the food which was hot, tasty and well served. All of the staff were very friendly and the rooms and public areas were spotless. The hotel is located very near to the beach and the local amenities. Lunch and afternoon tea is available in the... More

The Imperial Hotel was really nice. The food was good, nicely presented, and the waiting staff were attentive. The bedroom was a twin, beds very comfortable, with extra pillows and blankets in wardrobe if required. The bathroom was small, but had a hand basin, (minature, corner basin), shower and toilet, with shelf and mirror. Plenty of tea/coffee making equipment, and... More

The location is excellent being virtually on the promenade and within easy reach of most things The rooms have the washbasin in the bedroom just like a B&B the toilet and bath(only) is in the "bathroom" which can be used if the proverbial cat didn't get their first. Very very few rooms have a shower although it escapes my reason... More

My friend and I stayed here last September liked Eastbourne so much returned again this June with Robinsons. Hotel very good, bedrooms a little dated but spotlessly clean couldn't fault the food and the staff were friendly and nothing too much trouble for them. We will certainly stay there again .
