We had a 2 night stay for 2 breakfast and dinner. We could not fault the food which was hot, tasty and well served. All of the staff were very friendly and the rooms and public areas were spotless. The hotel is located very near to the beach and the local amenities. Lunch and afternoon tea is available in the... More

The Imperial Hotel was really nice. The food was good, nicely presented, and the waiting staff were attentive. The bedroom was a twin, beds very comfortable, with extra pillows and blankets in wardrobe if required. The bathroom was small, but had a hand basin, (minature, corner basin), shower and toilet, with shelf and mirror. Plenty of tea/coffee making equipment, and... More

The location is excellent being virtually on the promenade and within easy reach of most things The rooms have the washbasin in the bedroom just like a B&B the toilet and bath(only) is in the "bathroom" which can be used if the proverbial cat didn't get their first. Very very few rooms have a shower although it escapes my reason... More

My friend and I stayed here last September liked Eastbourne so much returned again this June with Robinsons. Hotel very good, bedrooms a little dated but spotlessly clean couldn't fault the food and the staff were friendly and nothing too much trouble for them. We will certainly stay there again .

Booked a two night stay with travel vouchers last week. First impression of the hotel was well maintained and clean. Had a room (402) on the top floor which was basic but very clean, with tea and coffee, hairdryer etc. Meals were very slick, some others have called it regimented but at the end of the day it is set... Just back after a week with Robinsons. Had a premier room on 3rd floor. Roomy, bright and cleaned every day. Plenty of tea, coffee, hot choc, biscuits, water and fruit. No noise heard and we were opposite the lifts and facing the front! Gordon our driver was a hive of info on each trip we went on. He helped to... More

Arrived Friday lunch time with the sun shining on a lovely day. We were booked on by a very efficient and polite receptionist from Riga. The room 209 was spacious and clean only downside the shower was good if you were 5ft 5. Amazing view of the sea from our room at no extra charge. The dining room was spacious... More

Stayed 2 nights breakfast and evening meal .food very basic and served in a very regimental style. Being seated and served very quickly. this reminded me of my school days and meals being very close to that too. Also strange after breakfast you have to choose evening meal .rooms basic location excellent .staff really trying and well mannered. Evening entertainment... More

Had a lovely holiday (8 days). Food was great and staff couldn't do enough for you. We upgraded our room which was a twin. Basket of fresh fruit on arrival, bottled water and biscuits replenished every day and plenty of tea/coffee/choc etc. The only thing we would have liked was a shower over the bath. Didn't know we would have... More

We spent four nights in Eastbourne at the end of April staying at the Imperial Hotel and travelling with a local coach party. It made a pleasant break although I probably wouldn’t choose to go back to this resort. The hotel was very good and not at all expensive. We were given a room on the fourth floor and this... More
