we have just returned from a new year break at this hotel, we travelled with Bowens, who have been rescued from closure , by Tony and his staff. Not in way could this hotel, or Bowens, be faulted. Tony was available at all times (except when he went down with a very bad cold), the food ,staff, and general atmosphere, was... More

I had booked an online discounted package with an upgrade. I am not sure what difference the upgrade made apart from being provided with a bowl of fruit which was nice. I was very impressed with the service in the dining room. You only had to wait a minute or so and a waitress or waiter came up to ask... More

My husband and myself visited this hotel using a Living Social voucher, the hotel was very clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful, Elwira who served us in the dining room was excellent she was such a lovely person who we were able to have a bit of banter with, the food we had at breakfast and... Staff friendly, hotel clean. No showers in most rooms. Food was well cooked but the menu was rubbish. Breakfast was at 8.15 and if you were late the staff got very upset. Entertainment was bingo bingo and bingo, every night bingo. Overall the stay was a disaster and will not go there again ever. This was certainly the worst tinsel... More

Overall cheap getaway but rooms very dated and uncomfortable staff were ok apart from the bar staff very rude and because it was tinsel and Turkey time ie loads of coaches it was catered for them so had to wait ages to get someone in the bar upstairs to actually turn up to serve us Then the food was disgusting... Visited with coach of people from our local club. The staff are all friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and comfortable but could do with a few updates. Only sheet and blankets on the bed, no shower, you have to specify you want this! However, there was lashings of hot water and the bath filled very quickly. The hotel... More

We decided to take a cheap break in Eastbourne through living social as we always go to Brighton. I had been warned that Eastbourne was a little bit slower going that Brighton but to be honest, that was an exaggeration. The offer included breakfast and a 3 course evening meal which was on par with school dinners. Everything was put... More

Forty-eight of us went on a Turkey and Tinsel week-end. We were the Three Valley Male Singers and we gave two concerts in local churches. As we had to leave the hotel early on two occasions they provided our meals at special times to that of the other guests. It was difficult to find any fault with the staff or... More

Just returned for a second visit here. Hotel is very convenient to the shops and beach. The staff are lovely always cheery and helpful. We thought the little seasonal touches were really sweet, sherry and mince pies for Xmas Day and Bucks fizz and sausage rolls for New Years Eve.Our room was comfortable and clean, clean towels every day.
