My stay at hotel imperial was very pleasant. For less than 30 pounds I had a room for the night, and a half board (dinner and breakfast) AND the hotel is almost right on the beachfront (only one building back from the sea). Brilliant location only a short walk to all of the towns attractions. The room was very clean,... More

Travelled on 5 day holiday with Robinson's Coaches. From being picked up, less than one mile from home, to returning home everything was better than expected. Our driver for the week, Gordon, was excellent and kept us informed throughout the journey. The trip included 2 day excursions, Worthing/Brighton and Tenterden/Rye. His knowledge of the history of the areas travelled through... More

My wife and I had a lovely two night stay at the Imperial. This traditional seaside hotel was full of character and is staffed by a wonderful team who could not do enough for you and we always smiling despite the awful weather. Particular praise for Miraslava. Will definitely visit again soon, hopefully the weather will be a little kinder.

we have just returned from a new year break at this hotel, we travelled with Bowens, who have been rescued from closure , by Tony and his staff. Not in way could this hotel, or Bowens, be faulted. Tony was available at all times (except when he went down with a very bad cold), the food ,staff, and general atmosphere, was... More

I had booked an online discounted package with an upgrade. I am not sure what difference the upgrade made apart from being provided with a bowl of fruit which was nice. I was very impressed with the service in the dining room. You only had to wait a minute or so and a waitress or waiter came up to ask... More

My husband and myself visited this hotel using a Living Social voucher, the hotel was very clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful, Elwira who served us in the dining room was excellent she was such a lovely person who we were able to have a bit of banter with, the food we had at breakfast and... Staff friendly, hotel clean. No showers in most rooms. Food was well cooked but the menu was rubbish. Breakfast was at 8.15 and if you were late the staff got very upset. Entertainment was bingo bingo and bingo, every night bingo. Overall the stay was a disaster and will not go there again ever. This was certainly the worst tinsel... More

Overall cheap getaway but rooms very dated and uncomfortable staff were ok apart from the bar staff very rude and because it was tinsel and Turkey time ie loads of coaches it was catered for them so had to wait ages to get someone in the bar upstairs to actually turn up to serve us Then the food was disgusting... Visited with coach of people from our local club. The staff are all friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and comfortable but could do with a few updates. Only sheet and blankets on the bed, no shower, you have to specify you want this! However, there was lashings of hot water and the bath filled very quickly. The hotel... More
