Helpful stay although would be nice to see a few more smiles ...room was a little disappointing but very clean and tidy ..the views were absolutely amazing from the windows I sat and watched the beautiful colours reflect off the sea a memory that will stay with me for a long time .

We have always thought it would be nice to go to The Cavendish for a meal and the other day wanted a venue for a cream tea with a friend so thought we'd try it for that but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. When we arrived the tables in the lounge, bar and library were all littered... More

Stayed for one night at this seaside hotel. The room was clean and spacious it was on the side of the hotel but we had a lovely view of the sea and the pier. ( room 208 ) Decided to dine in the restaurant for our evening meal and we found the service and food good. We also found the... More

Why does a customer have to fight to get reimbursed when hotel has charged twice for same room stay? Surely hotel accounting can see the error and proactively issue refund, instead of giving customer the runaround. Or perhaps this is a scam, to see if customer does not notice. In any case, it's outrageous behaviour.

Stayed 5 days in executive room with part sea view .Room comfortable but bathroom small but with modern fittings. Generally clean but nothing was picked up from the floor. Staff friendly. Big blot on the escutcheon however was the fixed price dinner. We did not expect Michelin star cuisine but what we got was sadly disappointing. The first evening I... More

Stayed here for 1 night whilst on business. Staff were nice and my room was good too. The shower was immense!! Had some food in the bar and watched the England match. I would recommend the burger! There was a singer on which apparently happens every Wednesday and fireworks outside on the beach (I don't think they were provided by... More

Stayed here for one night recently on a family trip to Eastbourne. Check in was quick and easy and friendly enough and we was given our room key and told to use the lift. We was only on the first floor so expected a quick lift journey - it took AGES for the lift to arrive we would have been... More

The Cavendish sits along the sea front in what we felt, was the quieter end of the beach. It overlooks the bandstand and has sweeping views of the ocean. I highly recommend a sea view. We stayed in the suite on the first floor which is very spacious as was the interleading double room the children slept in. The first... More

So my fiancé and I decided to go for the Cavendish after trolling online for a place to stay in Eastbourne for our mini getaway. We haven't been on holiday this year and decided this would be our break. We arrived around 1pm at the Cavendish, we parked in their car park which is very small and is no where... More

Stayed at the Cavendish for 2 nights. We arrived early but we're able to go into our rooms straight away which was great. We had two rooms and both had sea views. Both rooms were very spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable & bathroom had toiletries as an added extra. The breakfast was one of the best I've had in... More
