Really enjoy staying at this hotel (we are regulars) we were given our usual room which was great and rally started off the holiday. The hotel has a great chef and the food is beautifully presented. Only one small quibble, and that relates to the pate starters. These are tasteless and seem to be very like a bought in product... More

We have had a lovely few days staying in The Cavendish Hotel. We were greated warmly and throughout our stay we were treated very well by all staff. Our room was spotless and huge. Our only disapointment with the room was it was at the back of the hotel and did not have a sea view, but as we spent... More

Lovely Hotel on the sea front - booked a standard room and since it was not very busy ended up in a lovely sea view room which was large and comfy. Breakfast bit hit and miss - Buffet food was not very hot which is slightly off putting. Staff was really nice - don't understand the other comments on here.

Had a brilliant time, took my girlfriend for her birthday and she was thrilled, really nice room with sea view, lovely Italian just down the road which was also great value. Shame about the weather, was really windy and automatic doors at front were faulty and got stuck outside and had to phone inside as door bell wasn't working. Nice... More

Fantastic hotel. Lovely decor and fantastic views from the sea view rooms. Lovely breakfast and room service. Shame about some scaffolding at the back and quite noisy when it's windy but would definitely recommend and stay again. Lovely.

We have had several visits to The Cavendish Hotel and have always been very impressed. The staff are helpful, friendly and very efficient. The food in the restaurant is excellent and well presented. The lovely room had a sea view and was very comfortable. I really like this hotel, and would thoroughly recommend it.

Third stay at the Cavendish and as before nothing to criticise. Delightful service, great room and excellent Breakfast. Possibly the most powerful shower I have ever experienced - Wow some water pressure! Superb. Thank you.

Stayed for one night in October this year. I had a single room on the second floor. It was clean and comfortable, with a very elegant bathroom. Everything I could possibly need was supplied. I slept very well as my room faced the back and was very quiet. Breakfast was really good. I don't eat fried stuff at breakfast, but... More

We arrived a little early on the day of our booking, and were able to check in early which was great as we were off to a wedding the same afternoon. The two young ladies at reception were very welcoming and helpful. The room [433] was largish with good lighting, mirrors and clean. But the 2 doors - the room... More

The exterior appearance of the Cavensish does not make justice to the quality of its interior and service/organisation. We had a very spacious root (large even by US standards), clean. The service is solid and has a touch of elegance which we enjoyed very much. Breakfast has been generious and good quality. There's an attempt at being grand mostly achieved.
