Food was amazing , turkey was succulent. Fresh vegetables. Staff were attentive. Glasses were clean , no previous lip marks as I've had in previous places . Definatley recommend this to people who appreciate fine dining . I will return again and recommended to all I know . Well done to all

Didnt like this pub at all. Right next to a depressing looking cemetry and church we managed to get a parking space up a hill that felt like miles away becasue it was up a hill. The staff were snooty and we felt a bit awkard being the only younger people sitting down. the furniture looked like it had been... More

We have just returned home having stayed here for the last 2 nights (to go to Eastbourne Airborne Festival) No problems us arriving around 21:00 and Natalie, the Manager(ess) said that we could order food then (they stop taking orders at 21:00) or they could make us a sandwich, or she recommended a couple of local restaurants if we'd rather... We had family over from Denmark and thought it would be fun to take them to The Lamb Inn. Wine glasses were dirty. We sent 3 starters back twice, cheesy garlic bread, as they were cold, one main meal, beef burger sent back, cold!!! fillet steak was not cooked as asked and probably not fillet as it was tough. Service... More

Had a 1 night stay here in July 2015, landlady was lovely and the room was very clean & comfortable. Enjoyed a great dinner and breakfast, and the bar is full of character with an excellent range of beers.

Went to the Lamb for a family lunch and really enjoyed the experience. Very friendly owner and nice staff. Beautiful old pub that just oozes history....it almost feels like going back in time! We opted to try the specials board and tried the entire selection of sandwiches for lunch between us. Cheese and pickle, sausage and onion relish, fish and... More

Really didn't enjoy my Lunch, usually and in the past the food has been exceptional. I ordered roast beef I asked for it to be cooked medium/rare. The lunch arrived cold, the beef was grey and tough, veg was cold and without Yorkshire pudding (standard). The waitress looked dubious and almost expectant of a bad review of the food. I... More

My wife and I have just returned from another lovely comfortable stay at the Lamb Inn. As before the food, drinks, service & accommodation were excellent! The Lamb ought to have a Star rating! The service is quick, efficient, profession & friendly & the prices are very competitive. We have been returning to the Lamb every month or so over... More
