Really didn't enjoy my Lunch, usually and in the past the food has been exceptional. I ordered roast beef I asked for it to be cooked medium/rare. The lunch arrived cold, the beef was grey and tough, veg was cold and without Yorkshire pudding (standard). The waitress looked dubious and almost expectant of a bad review of the food. I... More

My wife and I have just returned from another lovely comfortable stay at the Lamb Inn. As before the food, drinks, service & accommodation were excellent! The Lamb ought to have a Star rating! The service is quick, efficient, profession & friendly & the prices are very competitive. We have been returning to the Lamb every month or so over... More

Stayed for two nights, Nat and the team are brilliant. Really old pub with original features and some great history. The room was clean, spacious. I love Harvey's beer and this pub has three Harvey's beer on tap. Really good food and drink, would recommend this pub to anyone.

We stayed at the Lamb foe just one night whilst attending a friends wedding, quite handy as the church was next door. We were greeted by Natalie who made us most welcome and shown our room which was large, with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, also a large very clean en-suite. Whilst sitting in the bar I couldn't help... More

A lovely ye olde pub, it is supposed to be the oldest pub in Eastbourne. As you would expect it is a beamed building with lots of timber and atmosphere. Good range of beers and ales, service is excellent, and always with a smile. The food though, is ordinarily. A great pub for a drink though.

I went with my boyfriend for a drink only. The atmosphere is good, loved the pictures about the pub, toilets are very clean, staff really friendly with a smile. We didn't have food, but we could smell something really delicious. Definitely we will be back!

Did not stay went for a meal. Double booked table of 16 and table of 12 with family squashed in the middle. Told food would be over an hour although we pre booked. 1 1/2 hours later food turned up very basic and not much for the price they charge. Will I return sadly no

First visit and loved the old charm of the place. However very very disappointed with the food. Beer battered fish and chips turned out a soggy mess. There with friends and none of us enjoyed the food. Didn't make a complaint at the time because of the friends I was with and wasn't going to upset them. Would I go... More

We dropped in for a pint of Harveys at lunchtime on Boxing Day. Nice beer and smiley, helpful staff. Just the sort of pub I wish I had near home as my local. We didn't eat, as we'd already done so in town, but I must say the food we saw coming out of the kitchen looked good, and the... More
