On arrival this place looks very impressive. you know it's going to be different. Arrived very late at night. check in fully manned. big room with a fantastic view of the sea. a bit dated, but quality. carpet in the bathroom..... The room (and indeed the hotel) is old-fashioned with excellent service from all the staff encountered. However, the room was small for the money paid and we did not feel it was good value (see my review of the Best Western Lansdowne next door).
