Having dropped my son at hus Uni digs, I wanted to stay overnight and chose this hotel because it was convenient to town and had a car park. Advertised at £41 per night i had to pay £49 because I was single even though I only had a single bed room. Built many years ago and with some history, the... More

Impressive Victorian seafront hotel with large car park. Elegant public areas, ballroom, two dining rooms, two bar/lounges, two lifts and very clean throughout. Part of the Leisureplex Group which tend to cater for the more mature, so few young children and unbelievably rated at only two stars! Should be a minimum three stars. We stayed for two nights (B&B), our... More

We secured a great room with fabulous sea view- room 206. Clean room - extremely fast in being cleaned. Fabulous shower - good water pressure and hot water. An old fashioned hotel with charm. Large seating area and quiet sunroom. We found all staff extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very fast - good staff- and good seating in large... More

We stayed with Alfa August 10-16 in the Queens, right next to the pier - in fact our room on the fourth floor looked right down on it. Fortunately the damage is fairly superficial with the workmen working to repair the damage and making good progress. Looks like it will reopen in September. Our room was fantastic - newly decorated... More

Had a 3 night break at this hotel. We had come to see our football team Sheffield Wednesday to play at Brighton and decided we would stay in Eastbourne and travel to Brighton by bus for the match. The hotel is a lovely trip back in time to the golden days of Victorian "grand hotels". We stayed on a B... More

Recently returned from a 5 day Alfa coach holiday staying at the Queens Hotel in Eastbourne and I must say I was slightly concerned before going after reading some of the reviews but was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The hotel was lovely if a little dated but very clean. we had booked three sea view rooms and were not... More

As part of an inclusive holiday with Alpha Holidays, we spent seven days at the Queens Hotel Eastbourne. A very old hotel, refurbished to accomodate about 300 guests who arrive in six coaches. Arrival well organised, cases taken to rooms. Dinner, Bed & Breakfast not bad and guests are required to be sat down at set times. Waiters and the... More

Very disappointing stay at this hotel. Had paid for an upgrade to a seaview room which are slightly bigger and usually better. Couldn't have been more wrong. Definitely avoid Room 309 which is on the 3rd floor. Bed very uncomfortable, (too hard for me) needed to use my topper which I now carry in the top of my case. The... More
