We have just returned from a week's stay at the Queens Hotel, on an Alfa coach trip. We were 3 sisters travelling together and shared a large family room on the 1st floor, overlooking the sea and pier. This was our first Alfa holiday, having previously used another well known coach company. The room was a bit dated, with very... More

Just returned from 4 nights at the Queens hotel in Eastbourne on an Alpha coach holiday. Excellent value for money for bed, breakfast, dinner and excursions included. The reasons I rate this hotel are: - Staff friendly and welcoming. Everyone seemed to genuinely care about their guests. - The hotel has character, it is old but is cared for and... More

I rate this hotel average only because of the supplement charged when booking a Single room. The Queens itself is a good hotel with excellent food and attentive staff. That said, here comes the killer of any enthusiasm i had. Looking on Alfa travels's website, (part of the same company as the Queens) to book a weeks stay at the... More

This is quite a find. A large, old hotel that has a certain charm. The room we had was large, clean and with a fantastic view across the sea. The hotel caters well for its guests. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has lots of interesting features - a sunny day room, large dining room.... This is a lovely... More

My Sister and I can't thank the staff here enough for showing they really care for their visitors. From our entry to our leaving they couldn't have been kinder or more attentive. I must mention the head waiter in the dining room ,Nickolai. He was so attentive and made us feel like family. The food was very good, plenty of... More

Went with Alpha on a seven day six night break 17th March till 23rd. On arriving the manager Sian boarded our coach on arrival to welcome us and tell all who had booked and paid for a seaview room will have their money refunded due to scaffolding which was a good start and very fair.
