Had a one night stay at this beautiful Victorian hotel. Like rhe other reviews very friendly welcome. The staff are really efficient. Breakfast was very nice. Good central location for travelling around Sussex. Only downside where the price of the barr were really dear. 20 for four drinks! Also I think the car park should be exclusively for the hotel... My partner and I came for a 6 nights holiday with Alfa coaches, and thoroughly enjoyed it. While we were there they catered for at least 4 coach loads. Everything ran smoothly, the restaurant, reception, entertainment and room service were supurb. There is a games room that is kept locked, but if you ask reception for the key, and pay... More

I took my group to The Queens for a short break in early March, and everyone told me it was the best hotel I had ever taken them too.! Good service, excellent food, and being given the Regency Suite with our own Chef & waiters was the icing on the cake. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the... More

Stayed here for 1 night. Room - very average and very dated, generous size. Bathroom - don't know if I was unlucky but I only got warm water, other than that average bathroom Evenings entertainment - great if your over 50 and wanna boogy all night, terrible if your using the hotel purely for rest as the noise travels through... We spent two nights (18th & 19th February) at this lovely Victorian hotel. From the moment we arrived we received a warm and friendly welcome from Peter on reception and instantly felt relaxed and unwound. We had a beautiful sea view room on the 2nd floor from which we had lovely views of the sea, pier and seafront. It is... More

Travelling for work purposes I wanted somewhere with secure overnight parking and also within walking distance of amenities for my colleague when I was absent. The hotel met all these criteria however the usual clientele are coach parties and persons of certain age which would explain the entertainment and menu choices. We stayed during the wettest month since records began... More

We have just been on one of Queens Hotel Christmas Party nights. This was our third time and it was, yet again, a great night. I would rate the hotel higher than the three stars as the hotel oozes character and charm, the food hot and tasty, the rooms spacious and, most of the staff friendly and cheerful. It is... More

We booked 2 nights here for a long weekend. The main reason I choose the hotel was the location right by the pier and having a free car park at the front. Most of the hotels on the sea front dont have car parks and you have to get a permit and hope you can find a space. The staff... More
