We have just stayed 6 nights at the Queens Hotel in Eastbourne, this was our first stay at this hotel, and having read some of the reviews l was a bit aprehensive.Firstly may l say, what a credit to the hotel the staff are, always helpfull, always smiling and friendly, and they would always go that little bit extra to... My partner and I travelled to Eastbourne with an overnight bag and no accommodation booked, we decided that if we didn't find a bed for the night we would drive home after the racing at Arlington Stadium. Having seen the vacancy sign as we drove into Eastbourne, I rang the Queens Hotel about an hour later and was offered the... More

We are recently back from an 8 day coach trip with alfa. From start to finish all was great , couldn't fault it at all. The breakfast great, always piping hot and plenty of choice, the sausage was one of the best I've tasty, which must have been good as I'm not a fan of sausages.. Evening meals great and... More

This is the second time visiting the Queens hotel, great staff, food good, rooms a bit tired but clean and comfortable, would stay again, great location opposite the pier and in walking distance to town centre. Most rooms have a sea view.

Stayed one night in twin room, booked sea view which was great looking over to the pier. The check-in was very professional, could not fault. The room however was very, very dated. Can't remember last time stayed in hotel that had blankets and bedcover, not duvet. Also a trouser press, very seventies! Bathroom lighting poor and taps had certainly seen... More

We have stayed at this hotel several times and it is our hotel of choice every time we stay in Eastbourne. We always pay extra for a sea view room and it is always worth it, especially if you like to look at the sea and promenade. It does mainly cater for older people on organised coach tours but we... Don't be afraid to book this hotel - we did after trying 5-6 others and this was only one with double room, the rooms are clean and comfortable; the public rooms have retained the original features and seem to be kept in first rate order. While we didn't EST at the hotel we did have breakfast and it was well... More

I must write this review as I felt I needed to inform others to not waste their money on Afternoon cream tea. I ordered for two people and when they arrived I was in shock! Bought in soggy scones, I was expecting homemade hard topped that looked freshly baked. Jam that came in cheap small containers and one jam was... More

Had a very pleasant 3 night stay here. Paid a bit extra for a sea view room which was well worth it for the view we got. Free car park & free wifi in the bar / lounge a bonus. Drinks at the bar very reasonable - £2.80 for a house double. Hotel was well situated, close to town &... More
