Had a great 4 night stay on a Alfa holiday, I had requested a top floor room and we were given room 512 which was a lovely big room with a spacious bathroom, we also had the bonus of a sea view and the room was spotless. The meals are of a very high standard with plenty of choice on... More

We have just come back from a 4night break in the Queens Hotel. The food was very good, the hotel was clean but needed updating in places. The net curtains in the dining room need a wash. We asked for a stool so my husband could sit down in the shower and were told to try the Red Cross. So... More

Slightly faded and jaded, but it's an old premises, updated well as years progress. Staff are the essence of charm schools from various parts of the world who understand what service should be which we locals don't manage! Good size rooms, modern bathrooms and brilliantly stocked tea/coffee making facilities. Getting into bath or shower use not for folk with limited... More

Room ... clean and tidy, and well presented. Decor a little tired in places, but nothing bad. We overlooked the seafront, and was lovely to hear the waves ... like being on the beach but in the warm and comfort. Floor creaky (no surprise, I think I would creak at over a hundred :) )... didn't hear any other creaks,... More

This hotel is ideally suited for shops, bus service, pier etc. could do with an overhaul like most big hotels but lovely and clean, the . Food was plentiful and well cooked, good, varied choice. Entertainment most evenings, not all to our taste but plenty did enjoy it. Loads of seating elsewhere in hotel so you could listen without being a... More

An elegant hotel from another era. All the public areas were in great condition and marvellous to see. Our room was clean and well decorated but very basic. The food choices were good (half board self drive break) but the quality was only average. Some of the Waiting staff seemed untrained and unsupervised but extremely hard working. Bar prices were... My partner and I travelled to Eastbourne with an overnight bag and no accommodation booked, we decided that if we didn't find a bed for the night we would drive home after the racing at Arlington Stadium. Having seen the vacancy sign as we drove into Eastbourne, I rang the Queens Hotel about an hour later and was offered the... More
