There is nothing in anyway special about the Lansdowne. It sits back from the sea front next to the beautiful grand hotel like a grimy box. I have stayed at this hotel many times during the past twenty years, mainly when travelling on business. I cannot recommend it to highly, not only for the friendly welcome, but also for the comfort and beauty of the rooms. The food is always excellent and served professionally. I cannot speak too highly of this traditional family hotel.
