What an amazing place, with equally amazing people who work there !! Room was absolutely beautiful and really clean and fresh. Plenty of tea and coffee facilities too. (we stayed in Shiraz) The view from our room was incredible and the view from the top of the lighthouse was mesmerising. I didn't want to leave the top, and actually didn't... More

We had a fantastic weekend here. Love the setting, rooms, breakfast and service. It's very well set up and run. We stayed in the keepers loft which is extremely compact with a mezzanine bed - not for tall people! But we knew what we were signing up for and loved it. Clever use of space to fit in the en-suite.... More

From the moment you drive through the gates, you realise this is a very special place to visit. The hosts Paul and Lee also made our stay memorable, so friendly and welcoming....and they both make the most delicious breakfasts! We stayed in the Old England room on the ground floor...with beautiful views of the downs and the added luxury of... More

For my 50th birthday mrs d treated me to a night at the belle tout. We loved it. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Ian , we had such a nice stay. The room we stayed in was Shiraz, 'twas great. Well fitted out, clean as a whistle, fab views. We had a walk and made it... More

We went to BT for a special birthday treat and had a wonderful time. Ian was a great host/manager and we were looked after superbly. We had two rooms - the loftkeeper bunk, which my friend adored as he loves lighthouses - and the Old England. Both excellent. The breakfast was amazing - enough food for the day! We loved... More

This was the perfect start to married life. An amazing place, friendly and unpretentious but so special. We stayed in old England as upper rooms already booked but views still fabulous and so comfy. Pricey but for a special occasion worth it. I am sure we will be back for anniversaries!

Wonderful place to stay. So many hotels are bland these days; this is not! I stayed in the old keepers room and as long as you can climb up and down it's the best room in the B&B. Lots of character and space not an issue. The B&B has too large sitting rooms which are in close proximity to this... More

From the moment you approach the lighthouse you get a feeling that it could be special, although not the most attractive from the outside we were not disappointed at all.An amazing location, a fantastic host- Ian,fabulous breakfasts and a truly unique accomodation make this such a special place to stay. We stayed in "beach hut" which has fantastic views and... More

The lighthouse, although not a stunning building outside is certainly stunning inside, each room is done to a very high standard and really comfortable. We stayed in Shiraz, which is on the first floor and has a dual view, over the downs and looking towards Seven Sisters. The bed is very comfortable, there are good tea and coffee making facilities...
