We have just returned from a 5 day break at this hotel with Just Go. Firstly I must comment on the review by jody1941,what a load of tosh!!! I can't believe she has actually stayed at the Arundel, she is SO wrong on all fronts. Also if you read her other 2 reviews, also of hotels in Eastbourne, they are both almost word... More

I stayed in this hotel a while ago,I did complain to just go holidays on my return. So I am very disappointed they are still sending people there. It was the worst hotel I had ever stayed in,food was a plateful of flavourless mush. If you didn't like greens etc. tough we didn't get asked. The dining room was in... More

Great hotel, friendly staff & food is excellent. Good location just off promenade. Ground floor rooms and lift available. Menu choice every night, George's food won't leave you hungry promise!! An all round excellent place to stay sure you could book a chain hotel but why would you. Join the family at The Arundel your be glad you did.

My wife and I have just come home after a holiday with Just Go! based at this hotel. We were very happy there; excellent value with good choice of meals always with very substantial portions so we'd gladly go again. Very hard working and cheerful people who deserve success.

We went on a four day break with Just Go holidays, after reading the other reviews we arrived with an open mind but we're not disappointed. The owner George and his family did us proud. The hotel is well worn but clean and comfortable. The food was home cooked and very plentiful, I had to ask for small portions for... More

Stayed for 4 days and found everything perfectly acceptable. We were welcomed by George and given all the relevant info needed about the hotel, meals etc. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk to the sea front and about a 10 to 15 minute walk to town. Our room was spacious, warm and clean with a good size shower... More

Just back from a 4 day, half board break at this elderly hotel. Although it is elderly, it is very welcoming, very clean and very comfortable and above all reasonably well maintained. The food was excellent and plentiful and for both breakfast and the evening meal there was a choice of menu to suit almost all tastes. For those that... More

After reading some reviews before we went, we pleasantly surprised to see how good it was. The room was very large new carpet and new TV, very nice suit of furniture. Food was excellent and plenty of it. Steak Pie was to die for. Chris Peterborough.

The hotel is in need of maintenance and updating, is clean but old fashioned. Had a twin room (good size)and one of the beds was worn out. but is staffed by a friendly helpful family. The food is 5 star, you will not go hungry here. Had a five day stay and for the cost was good value
