Just stayed at Ebor Lodge. A welcoming place with an excellent breakfast. David makes you very welcome. We had a room on the front with a sea view, great to wake up in the morning and see the sunshine over the sea. Handy for the promenade, the town and the train station.

We stayed here for my husbands birthday in February and had the big room on the 1st floor with the view of the sea. I cannot fault this B&B. David who runs it is so lovely and welcoming and he even arranged a 'rock' cake for my husband to enjoy over breakfast. Nothing negative to say at all, it is... More

Warm friendly welcome, with lovely , comfortable rooms and a delicious breakfast. Close to the beach and walking distance to the town. A great night sleep with nice comfortable beds, and no noise. A great over night stay! Party: mum, dad, 3 children, nan and grandad.

We stayed in a small double room which had a stunning view of the hills especially during sunset, the street below was very quiet and we slept incredibly well on the top floor. We didn't hear anybody even though the place was full. We felt very comfortable staying there, so comfortable that we even ordered some food in and stayed... More

Stayed in single room which has reasonable space and windows on 2 sides creating a nice light space. It's at the back of the house looking out onto a back street and was quiet and I slept well. The front of the house is on fairly busy, but not unpleasant road. The en-suite toilet is set well back in a... More

We put our friends into this guest house as we have no room for them to stay with us. Beryl could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The sea view room with balcony was beautifully decorated and so clean. A real sea view, not like some who offer sea view from a side window! The breakfast which we joined... More

We have a lovely couple of days at Ebor. Beryl was incredible helpful and friendly. She really went the extra mile and had tennis timetables printed and ready for us at breakfast and had suggestions about the local area and how to get around. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was good too, being made... More

Beryl is the perfect host, she greets you warmly but in no way overpowering. Courtesy is of the utmost with her and her staff. Our bags were taken to our room upon arrival and we were taken to a beautiful large clean and airy room. The bed was exceptionally large and comfortable, spare blankets etc were in the wardrobe. There... More
