My wife and I spent 2 nights here at Camelot Lodge, Eastbourne, it was like home from home, very clean and tidy everything you need in the room and the breakfast was fresh and absolutely delicious. We enjoyed our morning chats with Dee (owner) and it was she who pointed us in the direction of the Tally-Ho bar and restaurant... More

It was a shame that this house had scaffolding surrounding it but it is good that they are investing in the property. The builders were playing their radio a bit early just outside the bedroom window unfortunately. The bed very comfortable and the room clean. Breakfast was a bit average unfortunately. It was adequate for what we wanted it for... More

This is one of the most comfortable and nicest b&b's you can stay at. I've now stayed in several hotels and b&b's in Eastbourne and this is by far the nicest. The owners are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure your comfort and genuinely lovely people. The room is well decorated with a comfortable bed, nice sized... More

this place was recommended by the care home my mother is living in..have never stayed there..you can book rooms online but I had questions to ask and despite leaving messages over a three day period, I never had a call back once. The website says if you need to amend or cancel your booking then to call them but if... More

We are sorry that we were unable to return your call and appreciate how frustrating it can be when you felt that your message left on the answer machine, had just been ignored. Obviously there was a reason why your return call was delayed - all of us were away on holiday and did not wish to advertise the fact... More

The title of this review says it all. We have known three different proprietors, the current owners (for the last eleven years) being Dee and Kevin. This establishment is run very efficiently by them both – Dee front of house and Kevin (I think) head (only) breakfast chef. The rooms are very acceptable and have been upgraded in recent years... Last minute booking on route to catch a ferry from nearby Newhaven the next day. I arrived late and was greeted in a calm and friendly manner by the awesome anev very polite owner. The building was clearly a messy melange of decors and levels and the owners have done their best to transform and update it, and are still... More

Firstly I will say we visit a lot of guest houses. Basically I expect nothing less than I provide at home for my family or staying guests. On arrival welcomed by Dee. First impression lovely bright hallway with stained glass windows. We were Shown to our room which was nice and light. I needed to use mains extension which I... More

I stayed at the Camelot Lodge recently and found it one the of the best places I have stayed. I was greeted to a warm welcome, the rooms were immaculate and spacious. The beds were comfy. We stayed at Camelot Lodge whilst visiting friends living in Eastbourne. On arrival we received a very warm welcome form Dee, our rooms were immaculate and very spacious. The Breakfast menu was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly stay again and have no hesitation in highly recommending the Camelot to anyone planning a visit to Eastbourne.

Picked this B&B as the result of reviews on trip advisor. The reviews were excellent and I can say accurately reflect the accommodation. Stayed for 5 nights with my Wife and Mother. Was made to feel very welcome by Dee. Rooms immaculate. Breakfast excellent. I would recommend this B&B without hesitation.
