it's next to the lift that starts at about 7.30,twin room and the bed next to the door made a terrible noise every time you moved.Staff very sweet and helpful ,didn't bother with breakfast so can't comment

Booked for a one night getaway.Live locally, and heard first hand of how this hotel was good value for money. We booked the suite(overlooking the sea,at the front of the hotel).Upon arrival,we went up to our room, which was clean, had a very spacious bed(Huuuuge!),and a bathtub in the room itself.Strange,YES,but heyho,it was comfy once in there. The next morning around 7.30,there was... More

We booked to stay here for three nights a couple of week' s ago. One night was enough, we had to go elsewhere. Decor awful throughout. Furry curtains everywhere! Multi-coloured striped wallpaper in bedroom - together with the furry curtains - did not bode well for a restful, relaxed stay. "Continental" breakfast was sparse to say the least. Hardly anything... Decided to book a room here, even though the reviews weren't great. Should have believed the reviews! The suite was quirky and different, actually liked the furry curtains! However, they can't seem to get basic housekeeping right, the whole place smelt like a dusty attic the moment you walk in, the room bathroom was clean, but the room was tatty,... More

My fiance and i stayed at the big sleep hotel which allowed our dog to stay as well. The hotel is very clean and the staff was so so helpful and friendly. We had a double room and the room was so very clean and spacious. We would recommend this hotel and will be going back again. 5 star hotel... More

Really nice and helpful staff. Unusual decor, not sure what it's trying to be. Great view of landmark tower and ocean, but the large bay window had grubby-looking gray fake fur draperies! They just looked dirty. Purple walls, headboard, and tub surround, gray carpet with purple area rug. Large, king room (as usual in Britain, two twins sheeted together), bed... More

The hotel is situated on the beach promenade. Ten walking minutes from the center of the town. The breakfast is very rich in a large room with TV and view of the seaside. The elevators should not stop at 23.00.

This hotel is acceptable for one night, but I would try to avoid staying for much longer. On the whole the hotel is clean and functional, rather than attractive. My single room was extremely small and could easily have been claustrophobic. Because of the lack of space, there wasn't even a door on the bathroom. The single bed was clean... More

We often zip down to Eastbourne for a cheeky night away and always stay at the big sleep. It is funky and, even though is looking a little tired now, is great value. The sea view rooms are fantastic as you wake up to sunrise streaming in. My only complaints - the windows don't fully open and it can get... More
