We were there for one night so was not to worried about the small room on the 3rd floor. It was clean and sparse, this seems to be the trend these days, toilet room was a wet room but there was no where to put your sponge bag. The staff however were very good and the big breakfast was very... More

Eastbourne is a ghost town, and upon walking toward the big sleep hotel down one of it's ghost like streets, I assumed it would be a normal bustling hotel. When I got there with my pathetic luggage of 2 shirts and 1 pair of socks. And a hat. I was struck by the fact that no one was inside. Including... More

Booked one extra night at the big sleep to extend our honeymoon for a day. Went from a beautiful spacious suite to a khazi of a room which they called a standard double. There is nothing more satisfying than arriving at a hotel and having all your worries given over to someone else at the reception desk. That's how it was at this hotel, We had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone going to Eastbourne for a holiday or short break. Stayed for 3 nights in April and if ever... More

I had a great time treating my 2 young nephews to a seaside break. The hotel was as I hoped and expected - great studio room (sleeps up to 6 - 1 double bed & 2 sets of bunk beds). The boys loved the games room and I enjoyed the styling of the lounge area - vintage / retro. A... More
