Stayed at this hotel for one night. The hotel is located a few minutes drive from the town centre and is only about 50 yards from the seafront. The hotel is functional and is very good value for the price. The rooms are not huge and the bed was a bit creaky but we had a sea view and the... More

We booked a family room and it was really spacious and cosy. The beds were comfortable and the room was impeccably clean. Breakfast was really lovely and the selection was plentiful with great service. The hotel manager was really friendly, had a good sense of humour and gave us a great tip regarding local food and drink venues. We felt... More

We booked this hotel because of the advertised adjoining rooms so our baby could have a separate room. It was actually just one room with half a wall separating the sleeping areas. Everywhere smelt of smoke, the bed sheets were stained and the decor left much to be desired. We left before breakfast and no one was there to check... More

We are flabbergasted with this customer we went out of our way to ensure they were happy. The guests turned up at 11.30 am (Check in 4pm) and allowed them the use of the managers area upstairs to get changed prior to going to the wedding. They saw the room after we had moved some of the furniture to make... More

Thank you for your review. Firstly we are pleased to hear you were pleased withe location, parking and the service. However I was really disappointed to hear about the cleanliness in your room. I shall investigate who was in charge of cleaning your room and will ensure this will not happen again. The hotel is an old Victorian building and each... More

Our group consisted of my Mum (70) myself & my 2 sons aged 4 & 1. Mum had room 17 which is a single & we had room 16 which is a double. A cot bed was provided free of charge but no bedding was available. It would have been helpful if this had been mentioned when we booked the... More

Thank you for your review and really pleased you was happy. If you asked the staff they would of provided linen for your cot free of charge.I shall look into the gap but it might be helpful if your children were advised not to force their heads through. More

Spent 5 nights at this lovely b&b. double room with connecting room and bunk beds. Good size, very comfortable with more than adequate facilities. Very nice buffet breakfast with cooked breakfast to order if you wanted which was better than we had expected. Very accommodating and friendly staff and room cleaned every other day. Ten minute walk to the town... More

We (couple with two young children) stayed here for three nights in one of the Family rooms (connecting double + twin). All of the staff were very friendly and helpful (including wrt toddler-related special requests), the place was clean, and in terms of room standard I don't think that we could reasonably have expected more for the budget. The parking... More

Stayed only one night. Too tiny you could literally wash your hair in the shower whilst sitting on the toilet. Sink was by the bed so when going to the loo in the night had to disturb my husband to wash hands. Bed was uncomfortable and squeaked every time you moved I did not sleep at all. Breakfast was a... Thank you for your review. I am sorry you did not sleep very well, We do always check the mattress and some rooms do have limited space as its a very old Victorian building. Unfortunately at the height of the season it can get very busy and it may sometimes be difficult to serve everybody at the same time. We... More

We stayed with 2 older kids in a joined family room. It had a sea view, although somehow limited. The beds were clean, it had a parking place, the staff was friendly, the location was good, the breakfast was also good. No complaints and value for money (30 pounds p.p. incl. breakfast.
