Two good things about this hotel are the WiFi and the Tesco Express next door. Very expensive (£485.00 for one person in an executive double room for 4 nights), poor restaurant service & very poor customer service overall (exception is one receptionist & one member of bar staff who were very helpful on my arrival). On the first night the... More

had lunch here today and the food was lovely. It is Easter Saturday and so quite busy but they seem to cope with the volume of customers and we were served promptly The place doesn't look much from the outside but inside is clean and modern and staff nice and helpful

We stayed here for 2 nights in February 2015, freezing temperatures at night and not much warmer by day. We liked the pub, it's atmosphere warm and welcoming with great food and beer. The location is fantastic with easy access onto the Pembrokeshire coastal path. But our rating falls when we describe our room, although clean and spacious we were left... More

Have been in the area for a while and treated myself to a change of scenery. This place is on the beach almost. Room was spotless and large for the price. Very good value as i stayed in the summer. There is no one to help you but a lady is just a phone call away. Negative point is that... More

Stopped here for lunch after a walk along the beach. We were considering walking on, but decided to poke our heads in the door. The family bar has recently been refurbed, probably after storms last winter, with slate floors and comfy practical seats and clean toilets. The staff were welcoming and helpful, offering me cashback when I realised I had... More

Walked to pub for tea & was friendly & welcoming. All tables full which was a good sign for a Monday night. All of us impressed by quality & quantity of food. We will be going back again before we leave!

Only popped in intending to eat and drink. I stood at the (empty) bar and was frankly ignored by the chap serving. I nipped back outside to check with my friend on what he wanted and returned inside. This time a woman and the same chap both ignored me. After standing there like a lemon for 2 minutes I walked... More

We stayed here in the carpark recently over night as we have a motor home and for £10 they allow you to stay with electric hook up. We went to the pub in the evening for a meal. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The food was nice with a good vegetarian choice and all 4 of us... More

Came here with 8 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs for our evening meal twice last week as we were camping in the area. There is plenty of seating outside and the layout inside has a pleasant atmosphere with lots of different sized tables for different size groups. All the staff we encountered were friendly and efficient, with our food... More

We spent two consecutive evenings in the Duke and enjoyed both. Food is good quality and service is relatively quick. I had the Tuna Steak on the first night and Hunters Chicken on the second, both from the specials board. Both were great as were the real ales on the bar. Hopefully we will return quite soon!
