We went to the Duke for a family/friend group meal. Really busy outside due to the sun being out in full force, but nice and quiet inside. So, we grabbed menus off the bar and all picked our meals - my brother-in-law wanted a panini with chips. I went up to the bar and ordered and as the young girl... More

We stayed in Newgale and came here for a family meal. The pub has recently been refurbished after the recent storms and is really cosy. There's a log burner which will add to the cosy ambience in winter. The food was lovely and the meals were a generous size-it was difficult to eat everything! We were served by a charming... More

Visited here on a busy Saturday night, food was prompt and delicious! Shame about the pubcrawl that arrived half way through our meal but this is no fault of the establishment. Would definitely recommend!

Decided to go for a walk on the beach and have a pub lunch. Have eaten here many times but not in the winter. The pub didn't disappoint with excellent food in warm surroundings. Great the see the central log burner used. We even asked for a sandwich of the menu and no problem to make . Will definitely recommend... More

Stopped off here for lunch on day 3 of six walking part of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path with two former work colleagues (we are all now retired). The lady behind the bar was very welcoming, and although they only had limited beers on (we had two pints each of Courage Best), the food was very good. I had the Piri... More

This pub is situated right on an amazing pebble beach which leads down to pristine sand at low tides. The place does accommodation, we've not stayed yet but will do soon. We called in for a light lunch, the pub has plenty of seating and a good range of beers. The food is not 'gastro' but it is very good,... More

We ate here twice and food was good both times. Set pub menu with blackboard specials that did not disappoint, Nice pint of beer as well and very good in that they allowed dogs in the pub whilst we had lunch. Superb beach just over the road so worth a trip to Newgale

Exterior could do with a make over, but inside cannot be faulted. In a good location and Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was great both size and quality. Prices are average. Very clean establishment....would visit again!! Good location..... Beach across the road, campsite next door, large car park and a shop also close by.

Beware ! Wife and I walked in for a drink on a coastal walk. Place was deserted despite the bustling campsite next door. Didn't take long for us to work that one out ! I had a pint of shandy and wife a half pint of shandy. Our eight year old had a small orange juice. THE COST £7.10. The... More

good food, bit pricey for us as a family of 4. but its nice being sat outside listening to the waves whilst having a drink. The food was really nice and would go again as a one off but we were hoping to eat there most days but at £40 for 4 meals and 4 drinks we couldn't so we... More
