We only stayed here for one night and was very thankful for that. The hotel is old and tired and the room smelt stale. We had a problem with the bill at gayas cafe and the rude staff member wouldnt get his manager as he was "too busy". We also had a maintenance person walk into our room while we... More

Any hotels in Penang are better than this one. The room furniture is old, the location is bad, the staffs are not friendly. The food provided during the breakfast are low quality. The ingredients used for buffet were not fresh.

I've stayed at the Rainbow Paradise a total of four times in the last 5 years. It's a lovely hotel. A bit on the older side but still clean and perfectly fine to stay in. The grand, open aired foyer is lovely and the reservations manager, Mr Foo made sure we were well looked after as repeat clientele and ensured... More

My overall experience at this hotel was a good one, the staff were friendly, the pool was nice and in good condition, and breakfast was good (enjoyed the fresh omelettes immensely!) The bed was comfortable and I slept well. However, the hotel itself is showing its age. The decor is dated and in desperate need of updating and general improvement.... More

My family and I stayed here last weekend for 2 nights and since it was the school holidays, the place was packed. The location of this hotel is good. It's quite near to Gurney Drive and Batu Ferringhi, where you can find many restaurants and stores. The private beach is a plus. Our room was on the 20th floor and... More
