Hotel is just 30seconds from the beach. From the Penang airport,you have to take a cab. 54 ringgit. They dont have airport transfers. Maybe Entire malaysia dont have such service. They let their customers commute. The hotel rooms are very clean and fresh with tiles instead of musty carpets. We stayed at the Holiday Inn (Penang) as well on the same trip and I much prefer the Flamingo to the Holiday Inn. Stayed here 10 years ago and it was very good all round. This time it was very poor.The restaurant was dirty the food very poor. The reception staff had very little local knowledge. Our first visit I would say. 4/5 star, now 2 star. The new owners need to sort it out.
