My husband was admitted to hospital while we were on holiday so I had 4 nights stay at this hotel. I wouldn't have wanted to be staying here 'on holiday' but it certainly met the purposes for my stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the staff in the café/restaurant. Good choice of food for breakfast. It was a... More

We have slept 3 nights at the hotel. Quiet, cosy and nice to stay here at pretty pricy Stavanger. It is situated 25-30 minutes easy walk to city centre. If you do not want to stroll take bus (no 3), 2 or 3 stops to the centre. Hotel is linked with the hospital. During the breakfast there are lots of... More

Stayed here while attending an international conference at the local university. 5d4n, 2 people to a room. The rate we got was lower as all delegates to the conference were staying here, so there were some corners that were cut as described below. The room was very clean, but I think the sheets were not changed (because of the price... More

Thank you so much for Your review. We appreciate all the feedback and take it serious if there are some dissatisfaction. As Stavangers official patient hotel we are very strict with cleaning the rooms and changing the bed sheets. All the rooms have clean towels and linen and they will be changed regularly. I'm sorry to hear if you have... More

The hotel is clean, the rooms are small but functional. Good brekfast in the cafeteria. Its a great place to stay if you are having an appointment at the hospital early the next morning. If you dont have that, choose a hotel i the center of Stavanger. It feels like beeing at a hospital living there, because you are sorrounded... More

Thank you for Your feedback Anette. We are very proud to be Stavanger University hospitals official patient hotel. Our location is practical for long distance patients who are travelling to Stavanger for surgery and control. We have also one floor where newly born babies and their parents stay the first days. The hotel has only patients that can take care... More

The staff was not helpful. We had to cancel our trip to this hotel. After that I asked for money back. But hotel did not help us about reimbursing. They were only saying these are the rules. They earned 1000 NOK from us. But I will continue to tell about my experience to all of my friends. A hotel should... More

The hostel is located in the confines of a hospital complex so the first sight that may greet you in the reception area may be young parents of newborns in the process of shuttling between different sectors of the hospital. This oddity aside, the hostel actually functions like a hostel in other respects. Rooms and bathrooms are modern and spotless... More

This hotel was difficult to find - even for the locals that helped us, as it is connected to a hospital. This seemed a bit strange for a budget hostel but it was good value and in a nice suburban area which meant we had a pleasant walk into sentrum. The breakfast was good and the shower facilities were nice.... More

Thought this was going to be a creepy experience but it actually wasn't. The rooms are very clean including the bathroom (the only off side is the emergency buttons in the bedroom and in the toilet which made it feel like a hospital). The breakfast was really good (which was included in the rate) - you will be eating breakfast... More

St Svithuns hotel is part of the University Hospital. It's a strange set-up: the reception to the Hotel is also the reception to the hospital. But I like the unusual to this in itself did not deter me. But as a hotel, it is neither particularly comfortable, nor particularly good value - though these things are relative. Norway is an...
