The staff was not helpful. We had to cancel our trip to this hotel. After that I asked for money back. But hotel did not help us about reimbursing. They were only saying these are the rules. They earned 1000 NOK from us. But I will continue to tell about my experience to all of my friends. A hotel should... More

rooms are small, i booked one bed in a 2-bed-room Although there was a booking problem and we ended up 3 persons in a 2 person room everything got easily resolved witht the nice staff you have to take a bus for about 15min to get there and the hotel is located IN an hospital which is really weird but... The hostel is located in the confines of a hospital complex so the first sight that may greet you in the reception area may be young parents of newborns in the process of shuttling between different sectors of the hospital. This oddity aside, the hostel actually functions like a hostel in other respects. Rooms and bathrooms are modern and spotless... More

This hotel was difficult to find - even for the locals that helped us, as it is connected to a hospital. This seemed a bit strange for a budget hostel but it was good value and in a nice suburban area which meant we had a pleasant walk into sentrum. The breakfast was good and the shower facilities were nice.... More

Thought this was going to be a creepy experience but it actually wasn't. The rooms are very clean including the bathroom (the only off side is the emergency buttons in the bedroom and in the toilet which made it feel like a hospital). The breakfast was really good (which was included in the rate) - you will be eating breakfast... More

St Svithuns hotel is part of the University Hospital. It's a strange set-up: the reception to the Hotel is also the reception to the hospital. But I like the unusual to this in itself did not deter me. But as a hotel, it is neither particularly comfortable, nor particularly good value - though these things are relative. Norway is an... This is the cheapest hotel we can find in Stavanger. The room was very clean and the price was included breakfast as well. The breakfast was really good. However, the location is not that good becase it's about 3 km from the center and sometimes the helicopter was flying around so it was a bit noise. For budget traveller, I... More

A late flight in to Stavanger and an early departure the following morning meant we just needed a bed for the night, shower in the morning and breakfast. This was the cheapest option I could find for my wife and I and our 3 teenage sons. The reception is in the hospital entrance and parking is to the right of... More

I got so furious that I write review even before I check out. We arrived yesterday night and paid for 2 nights by cash for 8 beds dormitory. The brown hair girl on the reception received our money and said the beds are booked for us and gave the room key to us. But today, another yellow hair girl on... More

very good value for Money for Norway - £70 per night for B&B for 3 people. Good standard, clean and a very good breakfast. About 30 mins walk to the centre (or 10 mins bus ride). A good choice for an overnight stay.
