I stayed here for 2 weeks. Hotel is approx 4km's from downtown. The taxi service is quite expensive for that distance. Had a bunch of bad experiences with Norgestaxi so do not go with that company. Modern and comfortable hotel, 20+ floors (tallest building in town), 182 rooms, 20min walk to city center, 15min taxi to airport (outside rush hour). 5min by taxi to downtown Stavanger. Offers great views over the city. Amicable and friendly staff. Good top floor breakfast and dinner restaurant. Try one of the junior suites. You gonna like it compared to tiny room of downtown Stavanger. more
